Battleswick Fish Bar – BasildonVisited Umberto's with my son and my husband. We really enjoyed it, we we're really made welcome as we walked in. The food was very nice, cooked nice as well, staff we're all very friendly. The restaurant was a bit pricey but then you don't mind paying if you really enjoy it. I would highly recommend it.

Catch Fish Restaurant – Buckhurst HillMoved down south 2 years ago and booked this restaurant for our wedding anniversary, without reading up on it, well what a great choice food is delicious, always hot, restaurant is clean and tidy, staff very friendly and accommodating, we use it more as a take away now due to having two toddlers!! But would fully recommend this place every time! X
Blue Orchid Chinese – RomfordAbsolutely disgusting service by the "owner" of this hotel, i didn't even make it threw the doors!! i booked a holiday for me and some friends in september upon booking the lady asked for a card guarantee, which is normal procedure for a guest house! after this booking was made 2 weeks later the "owner" decided to take full payment off my card! without any warning!! this left me with bank charges and late direct debit charges!!! after calling the hotel the lady promised me faithfully that she would refund this straight away, this taking over a week i've had to report this to my bank and send her yet another email, she half heartedly apologised and again assured me the money would go in..........I'm still waiting!!!

Service was good, although a little slow as it was a busy Friday night, nethertheless the staff were friendly, polite and always available, in particular Abdul. Will definitely be coming back!

Burlington Fish Restaurant – RomfordVisited 10th December 2014, although we booked and paid deposit for six adults we where very disappointed when we were given bench seats that in my opinion, was only room for four adults to sit comfortably. We were squashed in and the adults sitting at the bench near the glass partition had to slid along on their bottoms to get to their correct seat plus, there was not enough room to eat properly, I could understand more if we had, just turned up without booking but I Booked up and paid the deposit for SIX ADULTS NOT FOUR. Sadly the ONE waitress was rushed off her feet (there was only one waitress to serve pre-meal drinks,clear tables, take orders for sweets, Coffee and final bill, given that your restaurant was full to bursting point, quite clearly this is to much for one to handle alone.I hope your restaurant improves its service soon. The high number of customers should not be a cause for bad seating and delay lest customers like us be put off despite the good food.

Miller & Carter Lakeside – GraysVisit to watch football and often eat as well as drink. Always a good atmosphere, even though there is a wide age range. Staff are constantly clearing tables so always feels clean. And last but not least, GREAT value for drinks and food.
