The Shepherd and Dog – RomfordGreat little pub, great entertainment on saturday 29/09/2012 with the singer Bennice and Cosy.
The Chequers – BrentwoodThe Sunflower is my favourite place to eat in Southend. Michelle and Scott run a friendly, relaxing cafe.
The Sunflower Eaterie – Southend On SeaAt 1443 hrs 23/9/2012 I ordered and paid for a large expresso @ £1.29. from a member of your staff with the name Ben on the receipt. After a considerable length of time he served me with a minature cup of cold coffee.I pointed out this was not my order. Ben refused to address this problem.
Moon and Starfish – Clacton On SeaEverything so nice. Chicken Tikka Roll and the Harri Mirchi chicken was just outstanding. Beef burger was so much better than macdonald. Delicious. MMMMMMMm. Highly recommended.
New Little India – WithamHad a lovely lunch with my brother who is over from Australia. Very impressed and will be visiting again.Thank You !
The Shepherd and Dog – Romfordcrowded, great band, over priced, and full of oldies.
Ten Green Bottles – Leigh On SeaThis is a little hidden gem our family had a wonderful private function here, the food and service was fantastic. Michelle and Scott were happy to alter menus for the fussy teenagers. All our family are now regulars enjoying the quiz nights and popping in day to day. The food is scrummy and keenly priced without compromising on quality. Our favorite place by far.
The Sunflower Eaterie – Southend On SeaThe food, the wine, the atmosphere is second to none. Love it here.
The Sunflower Eaterie – Southend On SeaWe have visited the Las Vegas Grill on many occasions over the last 5 years, with up to 50 older people on day trips from Enfield in London. Each year we have always found the staff exceedingly helpful and friendly, the food is always fresh, hot and tasty with generous portions and the cleanliness / food hygiene is second to none. The WC's are always regularly cleaned and spotless on every visit. The manager (Richard) is extremely helpful and accommodating and ensures quick, friendly and efficient service to all our clients. The only negative is that we cannot take the Las Vegas Grill and its staff back to London, so we can eat there more often. We were there in July and look forward to our next visit.
Las Vegas Grill – Southend On SeaVERY COMFORTABLE AND FRIENDLY. WITH GOOD FOOD. VERY CLEAN, ESPECIALLY THE LADIES TOILETS WHICH i AM VERY FUSSY ABOUT.
The Horse and Groom – BrentwoodEnjoyed so many evenings with you, with Family and Friends. Lovely waitresses, great food andf will be there again and again XX Thanks for a lovely service XX
The Shepherd and Dog – RomfordA few weeks back I had a bad experience here and e-mailed the manager. We received a voucher which we have yet to use. But a friend drove me there a week ago and it seemed like they had taken on board my comments and improved. The restaurant no longer smelt of old cooking oil and my fish and chips were golden (a sign of fresh oil) rather than the dark chips on the previous occasion. I must admit I avoided the steak this time in case I was again given a piece that was so chewy I could not eat it. So thank you for listening, and once again your staff were very pleasant and helpful
