The Barn Garden Centre Cafe – ColchesterVery good food and service excellent.
The Barn Garden Centre Cafe – ColchesterWe loved the food there! Best vegan food we’ve had so far. It exceeded our expectations. The deserts were soooo yummy. We’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you x
Stoked Vegan BBQ – SouthendSeated quickly, food was fantastic, staff very attentive, especially in terms of cleaning up. Defo recommended
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – BasildonGreat, fresh food .
The Barn Garden Centre Cafe – ColchesterCame for Sunday roast and a lovely lunch. Definitely good value for money given the size of the portion, my only critique would be my plate had 2 whole solid carrots which was a lot to try eat - everyone else seemed to have 2 long halves. Very quick service too.
The Owl – LoughtonHad the pan fried salmon, delicious! Staff were welcoming and efficient.
The Owl – LoughtonFirst time I have eaten on a Sunday although have been many times before for weekday meals. Two of us had the Sunday roast beef brisket and it was first class. My partner had the skate and was disappointed that it didn't have vegetables with it although the fish was stuffed and had a sauce with it. We can't remember what our 4th guest had but it was something with prawns. Brilliant service as usual but not manic as it is in the week.
The Barn Garden Centre Cafe – ColchesterBeautiful lunch. Excellent service.
The Barn Garden Centre Cafe – ColchesterHad a lovely lunch last Thursday
The Barn Garden Centre Cafe – ColchesterHad the owl smashed burger it was great Staff warm And welcoming
The Owl – LoughtonI ate lunch here with a friend and her son and I specifically chose this restaurant due them having gluten free options on the menu, which I had checked in advance. I asked for the ‘barn burger’ which detailed gluten free option available, but when I came to order this, the server advised that this wasn’t available due to it being a Korean fried burger, so this was disappointing. Once we had finished our lunch, we wanted to order coffees and cake, but there was a very long wait/ very hard to get a servers attention, by which time I went to the front till. We asked for a table of water with the coffees and cake which didn’t arrive and I had to again try to get a servers attention to ask for this.
The Barn Garden Centre Cafe – ColchesterSuper friendly, lovely food. Just a shame one main course was forgotten so we had to wait a long time to be served so we were starving.
Stoked Vegan BBQ – SouthendHad a lovely brunch at The Barn Plenty of vegetarian options (miracle in itself!) very good price and very tasty. Service was also very good
The Barn Garden Centre Cafe – ColchesterLocation,Food and service all perfect. Will definitely be returning soon.
The Owl – LoughtonDelicious meal as always at Stoked! We had the crispy chilli beef to start, the steak frites and bbq plate, then finished off with tiramisu! All was delicious. The bernaise sauce on the steak was *chefs kiss*. We have been before, and will be back again!
