Rodean – ExeterEvery time I visit Zizzi's I find something else to love about it... this time it was the willingness to do anything to make my sisters 18th meal out a great success. Nothing was a problem and the staff were a treat. It is so rare to go out be served by people who genuinely seem to enjoy being there and to actually take part in conversations and make us laugh rather than dragging their feet off and moaning... The food was perfect, even the simplest dishes are given the utmost care and attention. I have never found a dish that I thought could have been better and the portions are amazing... My favourite dish would have to be the Clarissa... Admittedly i could go on about this place for ever... I love it
Zizzi – Exeterfood cooked to order, good fresh produce well presented and fantastic taste. ask for the other wine list wow!!
Anchor Inn – ExeterI love this place. I go with my partner all the time. Food is great and location is fantastic! Easy parking. Well recommended.
Bar Venezia – Exeteri went to Harry's based on the recommendations i read here. The food was good, but not quite as outstanding as was mentioned by a previous reviewer. Service was a tad slow, but i do recommend this to people who havent been before.
Harrys Restaurant – ExeterVery good
Starz Bar and Restaurant – ExeterA great night, Wes & George very welcoming.
Butterleigh Inn The – ExeterIt is always a pleasure to eat in Harrys. It is by far my favourite in East Devon. I travel 17 miles twice a month to eat there and it is worth every mile. The staff are fantastic, the food and wine as good, ambience and surroundings always fun, and most of all, excellent value for money.
Harrys Restaurant – ExeterSince Bar Venezia has been re-opened as a Mediterranean Restaurant, I can't stop myself from going and sampling dishes from Spain, France, Portugal, Greece and Italy. Wow...
Bar Venezia – ExeterI have been to Starz twice now; most recent was for a Hen Party. I have to say, they were fantastic. Food was amazing everyone was so friendly making sure you have everything you need, they are really good with large groups of people too. I will definitely re visit as often as I can. But Book in advance, they do get very busy. Thanks Starz
Starz Bar and Restaurant – ExeterI've been to Starz many times and have always been impressed by the waiting staff and good the food is. Although trying to book there now is a nightmare it? so busy every night of the week!!!!!! But just recently the staff seemed too have the lost the smile off there face and don't seemed to enjoy it as much. I and my family were served by Lynsey last time I was there and she was fantastic, always smiling and added to our night. I did miss the restaurant manger I think he was called Stuart always had a smile on his face and the waiting staff seemed to buzz of him, plus he was really good to my little sister when she went there for her 22nd birthday.
Starz Bar and Restaurant – ExeterVery enjoyable and relaxing. The place was nicely set out, you had to order your food and drinks at the bar, but it was worth it.
Chaucers – ExeterA trendy environment, serving good quality food at reasonable and affordable prices.
John Gandys – ExeterThis place quite possible does the best carvery in Exeter at the lowest price. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and the food is fantastic and very cheap. Well worth a visit, I guarantee you'll be back.
Exeter Arms Toby Hotel – ExeterA cracking restaurant, highly recommended. The staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere warm and jolly. And the food ... well that was outstanding.
Rodean – ExeterBeautiful family run restaurant ideal for that special occasion. Food cooked to perfection and the staff were a pleasure to deal with. Take your time (you will not be rushed) to savour the delights of this little gem
Rodean – ExeterWe chose to go to The Digger's Rest purely spontaneously as it was close to home and we fancied a pub meal. We were very mistaken the food well exceeds a 'pub lunch'. It has become now one of our favourite restaurants. Friendly staff, great food, a lovely relaxed atmosphere and all at a very reasonable price what more could you ask for!?
Diggers Rest The – ExeterReally tasty food, the mixed grill was excellent. Staff always friendly. I felt they went a bit overboard on some of the decor (almost verging on tacky) on what is overall a really cosy and relaxed restaurant (especially downstairs). I'd go there far more often but their drinks, particularly the beer, are so expensive.
Al Farid – ExeterSunday Menu: 2 courses, £31; 3 courses, £39.50.
