Zizzi's is lovely! Had a fab evening there, I am veggie and the waiter recommended a lovely pasta dish for me. My partner said their 'meat balls' were the best he'd ever had!...the staff were really helpful and friendly. Not expensive considering how great the food and service is. Planning to go again very soon!
Zizzi – ExeterLovely food, great service. A very friendly, local pub atmosphere. Dog friendly and extremely welcoming to all. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Not too difficult to find - well signposted from Bickleigh, Cullompton. Well worth it when you get there. Plenty of parking, nice outside area.
Butterleigh Inn The – ExeterVery pleasant evening, Abbie and Duncan played the role of hosts very well. I never went to the Butterleigh under its previous owners so cannot comment, but if my experience is anything to go by - Duncan and Abbie will do very well. A great evening was had by all - many thanks to both the chef, the staff and to the owners for their hospitality!
Butterleigh Inn The – ExeterI have travelled around America extensively and this place is by far the most Amercian place I have encountered in the UK since the fall of TGIs. The food is such great quality and cheap when compared to other restaurants of this kind and the very friendly staff were only too happy to help with my fussy dietary requirements. When I make such demands, a restaurant rarely gets it right but Starz did. Their wine list is authentically amercian and top class. I will certainly return. The bar downstairs is classy and worth checking out too.
Starz Bar and Restaurant – ExeterWe tend to visit here everytime we visit my in-laws who live in Kingsteignton. There's so much to look at around the place - all the signs, etc - you could go in here on your own and not get bored! What a good place. It's tucked away though and we only found it the first time by accident.
Old Timers Wine Bar and Restaurant – ExeterWe dropped in for lunch, it was unusually busy we thought considering its in the middle of nowhere, but, I suppose it is just outside of Exeter. It would have been very easy to spend but we used will power and held back. I had sausage and mash, it was fantastic, the quality of the sausages was staggering, apparently they are made just for them by a top local butcher. My partner (a Veggie) had what she referred to as brilliant, a tart of leek and goats cheese, we couldn? resist puddings. We shared a selection of different passion fruit desserts that included sorbet, cheesecake and mousse, all presented on designer crockery and a mille feulle of berries with creme anglaise. I cant wait for the opportunity to go at night.

Les Saveurs Restaurant – ExeterRoedean is my husband and I's favourite restaurant - usually saved for special occasions. We have been going there for the last 3 years. The restaurant is family owned and the care and attention that goes into the menu planning, quality of food, staff and atmosphere is clear to see. We have never had a disappointing meal. On every single occasion I have ever been I always have the 'speciality' Creme Brulee for desert - I have never tasted a better one!
Rodean – ExeterFour of us ate on a Friday evening in the restaurant, rather than the bar. The slightly dated decor did not detract from what was a superb meal. Presentation is excellent but quality and taste are not neglected. Portions are adequate, though a slightly larger vegetable dish would have been nice. The choice is plentiful, with more dishes on the chalkboard. Service was good with staff attentive and knowledgeable. Highlight for me was the citrus dessert selection - 4 mini desserts in one at a bargain price! As far as prices are concerned, think of the Jack as a restaurant, rather than a pub and consider the cost reasonable in relation to the quality of the fare. Excellent!
Jack In The Green Inn – ExeterI don't think this can be beaten for good, fresh, well-prepared pub grub. The spicy chicken skillet was very good, and my partner had fresh fish - well cooked and very tasty. A friendly family-type atmosphere.
The Lamb Inn – ExeterThe Atmospheric offered a friendly, relaxed atmosphere for our family meal. The children played in the very secure beer garden with the Bernese mountain dog 'Zoe' whilst we sampled gorgeous ales. The meals we had were all home cooked and very large (no chance of fitting in a pudding!), exceptional value and I would recommend it to all my friends.

Mexican, The – ExeterThe meal was more of a modern pub lunch. it maintained the ideals of a typical smart pub location but in addition offered fine food, of which was in good quantity.
Barn Owl, The – ExeterHaving just visited relatives in Exeter, I have returned to Denver, USA. This place really was home from home, the food the service and the cocktails were fab. They certainly made sure I had a nice day. When I am next in Exeter I will return to Starz.
Starz Bar and Restaurant – ExeterI have just recently sampled the utter delight that is Donato's -I would highly recommend this as an elegant restaurant that is suitable for all ages!
