My daughter & I spent a wonderful afternoon enjoying afternoon tea at Lilibets. The service was excellent, with lovely food which was beautifully presented. A massive thank you to Simon for being such a brilliant host. We will be back!

We had a great evening in the Royal oak restaurant. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made the experience really great. Our food was great quality & delicious and all 4 of us enjoyed the meals. We joined the quiz and the quiz master made it a lot of fun. Great team of people here. Would highly recommend. :). Join the Monday quiz night. It’s so much fun!!

Went to Sunday buffet, food nice and hot, good selection and replenished regularly. Service was good, staff friendly and helpful.

We went on a Sunday afternoon at 2pm. Service was very slow, plates were left on the table for a long time after we had all finished, the table next to us were seated but no-one came to take their order so after 20mins they walked out. The food was good, the souther chick burger was a 10/10 , however we were slightly disappointed in the mixed grill, quite small portions compared to other similar places. Would probably go again but will try a different time. It would also be useful to tell customers that they pay the bill at the bar not at the table.

Food was very good, service was excellent. Definitely recommend eating here.

Four of us out for food and drinks. Great little bar, very clean and tidy. Friendly staff and the food was absolutely delicious. We will be back

An excellent afternoon tea, in beautiful surroundings. The staff were good and attentive and the food was freshly made up and tasty.

Just been to The Clifton at Warton for the first time in almost 20 years. What a transformation! It's light and welcoming interior is a vast improvement and the staff are very helpful. We had a main course each from the menu, my wife had the braised steak pie and I had the seafood risotto. Both were good sized portions and were very tasty, the risotto full of mussels, king prawns and calamari was cooked to perfection. My wife had a large glass of wine and I had 2 pints of quality larger. The bill came to a very reasonable £60. We will be back again soon!

3rd time I've been here and yet to have a bad meal. The food is so tasty the maple belly bites are amazing Will be back soon

Overall very disappointing staff were ok but can tell they were young and not very experienced we have been before and the it was a fab experience so it's definitely gone down hill we asked what mocktails they had and they didn't have a clue also there was a dog in there barking most of the time so definitely a bad experience and have been put off going again

The food was excellent. It took a long time to get severed at the bar, as the young lady working was inexperienced and clearly needed some training. The restaurant seemed very short staffed. My mother was served a curry in a ridiculously hot plate. The toddlers meal was also served on a hot plate. We had to send it back to be put on a cold plate. I think investment in staff training is essential to improve customer experience.

A lovely afternoon tea in a beautiful house within a stunning setting. Service was friendly, attentive & we were well looked after. Drinks were regularly replenish & the scones delicious.
