Went here yesterday and thought it would be similar to hickory’s. It was not. The kids meal and deserts were good, but I ordered the ribs and they was so fatty, I didn’t eat any of them. The chips were really nice, overall the service was slow, and quite poor.

Booked a table for 03/08/24 when we arrived there were two regulars it looked like at the bar ,we weren't sure who to advise that we had a booking as it wasn't made clear ,it wasn't particularly busy in the bar area although 1 girl looked to be run off her feet with drinks orders whilst other members of staff stood around after 5mins the girl from the bar said she would be with us soon for drinks and did let someone i assume the manager know we had booked a table, which they decided to then organise for us by which time id lost interest as they weren't filling me confidence from the get go do we decided to leave as just didn't feel welcome.

Very good place to eat at, food is apsolute class. Been a few times now and it's banging every time, will be back every fortnight for some more top tier scran.

First time at the Sugarvine , lunch menue was great so many choices, food lovely and staff very friendly, lovely place , will definitely visit again.

The food was very good, especially the lamb curry. To be recommended.

Came across this pub on line on way back to Manchester . Had the Sunday dinner which was lovely only one small gripe the Yorkshire pudding was cold at the bottom . The staff were lovely and service efficient

This was booked for my boyfriend’s birthday meal out as staying over in St. Annes. Overall it was fairly disappointing. The food was superb, second to none, each dish we had was lovely. Unfortunately the whole experience was let down by the non-existent atmosphere, it didn’t seem to have a personality and the staff, whilst efficient, we’re not overly friendly or didn’t know how to make customers feel welcome or build relationships. I imagine they’d have been at home in a Costa Coffee type role, but it didn’t work for us in a restaurant on a Saturday night! Plus the cheap back seats that had been plastered together with grey gaffer tape we’re not consistent with the rest of the decor. In addition, We ordered two cocktails to start the celebrations, and whilst my partner visited the facilities he notice that it was 2 for 1 cocktails on Saturday night. We mentioned this as the waitress bought ours over, and she just said ‘yes, it had to be two of the same’, so why didn’t she mention that out of courtesy when we ordered them…very odd!

Amazing food, great atmosphere.

We had a pleasant meal on Thursday evening. The restaurant was fairly quiet so lacked a bit of atmosphere. Our food was good but the unavailability of some of the menu options was a bit disappointing.

A very enjoyable meal. The green curry was very tasty. Couldn't fault our meal. Would recommend.

Went here yesterday (2/8/24) for a mate date and I have to say the food was excellent. I had the shrimp as starter and they were brilliant. The sauce was well balanced and they were cooked to perfection. My mate had the wings which fell apart and were full of meat. Well worth ordering them as a starter. 10/10. As the main I had the OG burger and it was brilliant. Burgers were grilled to perfection and the bacon was sweet but smoky and complimented the cheese superbly. Only thing I would ask for is some chunky red onion on the burger, however there was a lot of 'slaw with red onion in it, however I smothered my fries in it. 9/10. My mate had the brisket as his main and that was out of this world. The meat literally melted in the mouth (the little bit he gave me!) safe to say it was gone in moments as it really was that good. I drank Amstel and he drank Camden but unfortunately he drank them out of Camden haha! 2 starters and 2 mains plus (I think?) 9 or 10 pints between us for a smidge over £90. Well worth the amount for the quality of food and the service we received. I look forward to trying Thors Hammer when it's available! I want to be the first to set the standard! Definitely will be visiting again soon.

This was my second visit for afternoon tea at Lytham Hall and was as good as the first. Wonderful surroundings, great food and the waiting staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. My russian visitor was eagerly looking forward to her first English afternoon tea and this did not disappoint. Highly recommended.

Came midweek for a bite to eat and a beer. Friendly atmosphere, good service and the food was excellent! Very good prices, well worth a repeat visit!

Had a lovely family meal,very good service, great food and large portions. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely lovely food,really enjoyed it,shame no poppadoms and we were told they don't eat them in India !my friend knows numerous people from India who found that hilarious.
