Amazing food fab prices and great service thank you !!

We pre-booked a table for 4 on a Saturday at 6pm. We arrived and introduced ourselves at the bar (no on time one at the greeting table). We were told she would be right with us then turned back to carry on showing two other young servers how to make a cocktail. We waited, and waited stood by the bar (my sister is disabled and walks with a stick) until I called this to the same servers attention. She told us that we could go sit and wait in a corner of the bar. Finally sested and given menus We asked a question. Server disappears and doesn't come back for well over 5 minutes The rest of us placed drinks orders however, they were out of stock of one of the beers. We placed our food order to find there were 3 things sold out. Remember, this is Saturday at 6.30 and they are fully booked for the full evening. At this point a table that had been waiting quite some time, gave up waiting for their food and left. After another long wait they came back to take our substitute food order. We waited for a further 45 minutes before the food was served - not all together, my sister had to wait another full 5 minutes. Our other drinks order hadn6arrived but I could see it sitting on the end of the bar so I got up and got it myself. Whenever we mentioned anything to the servers we got apologies and the excuse that they were fully booked. We ordered desserts - which were extremely disappointing. We were in for over 3 hours, most of it waiting. By this point my husband had enough and asked to have a word with the lady we could see was in charge. The meat WAS amazing! Tasty and juicy. They obviously need a bigger smoker to deal with the demand which is a great position to be in. If only the service could cope and they could keep up with the demand. The owner promised to sort out our bill (she did comp us 50% for which we were very grateful) and that she would email us to offer us a free return visit to see that they could do better. We didn't write a review until nearly 4 weeks had passed. She never kept that promise.

What a lovely birthday present.Thoroughly enjoyed this experience As did my friend who accompanied me . Bonus. Very atmospheric, taking you back to real authentic Georgian afternoon tea in the beautiful tea room with much appreciated log fire. Food was very good value ( silver voucher ) for two people and a great selection of sandwiches, crisps, cakes, trifle, possets and macarons. Each side of a three tier cake stand for each person. This was followed by individual jars of clotted cream and strawberry jam and scone. We, as most people did ,took plenty back home with us all boxed up by the two authentically attired ladies who managed the whole sitting by themselves. We opted for the early session 12.45 allowing 90mins to complete our experience. They then had to repeat for second sitting. These lovely ladies are volunteers and made our visit a truly lovely one. Thank you ladies.

Booked a table for 4 @ 18:45, arrived on time and told the waitress. As we were given drinks we were asked to sit, whilst she served other people. At 19:20 I asked when we were being given a table it seemed the waitress were on her own and had forgotten to seat us. When we did get our meal it was very nice, although the portions of the sweet corn were very small. The issue was staffing and not the waitress who seemed to be on her own and rushed off her feet.

We had a lovely afternoon tea at Lytham Hall, sitting next to a roaring fire on a cold winters day…listening to gentle music in a gorgeous setting and being looked after by fabulous staff! The tea was so beautifully presented and was amazing, and the hot scones were divine! Thank you so much for such a lovely experience.

Had a great evening dining at Henry’s It’s easy to find plenty of parking, nice cheery welcome when we came through the door. We came with two persons who have hearing impairments and they kindly turned off the music in our room so we could talk without distraction. Our waitress talked us through the menu but was a few steak options not available but maybe lunch service was very busy. All food arrived hot and delicious no complaints from us . Will go back and maybe get a steak next time

2nd visit. First was excellent. Went back for a sunday lunch. I had beef ( 1 slice provided ) Unfortunately had to ask for a steak knife and still struggled to cut it but will be back to try other things, just not the roast beef. You need to cook slower for longer. roast potatoes could do with being more cooked and not enough veg. Quite small portions for what you pay.

Never tasted anything like it. Best food I have had in a very long time. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Just perfect. Thank you 20/10 for everything. My mouth is watering just thinking about the food we had.

First time to Henry’s smokehouse and I was amazed by the hospitality and food. We went for a 30th birthday and the staff went above and beyond helping with the surprises and the food left us speechless. We will certainly be back.

An excellent way to spend time. Our waitress was quite excellent and knowledgable. She made a fine experience even better.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, very reasonably priced. The staff were fab to. Really welcoming. We had a brilliant evening and we'll definitely be back!!!

Food incredible - I mean the Beef Brisket was some of nicest smoked brisket I’ve ever tasted. Staff friendly and the drinks arrived at the table so quickly. Lovely atmosphere. Would absolutely recommend and we will be visiting again.
