Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamThis was our second visit and we really enjoyed te tour and the afternoon tea. The staff were friendly and very attentive. I would recommend to friends.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamWe are a group of friends who hadn’t got together for a while, and afternoon tea at Lytham Hall provided the perfect opportunity to catch up. As the sun was shining, we walked in the outstanding grounds first to work up an appetite. We certainly needed to, as the food was both beautiful and plentiful. The staff were lovely and brought fresh pots of tea whenever we asked, and the surroundings were so elegant too. It was a real treat, and we’ll certainly be coming back.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamWe took my sister in law for afternoon tea to celebrate her special birthday. Afterwards we went to look around the beautiful Lytham Hall. She was delighted, as were we, with the whole experience. All the staff were so attentive which really enhanced the experience. Both the afternoon tea and the cost of admission to the Hall is very reasonable and excellent value for money. There’s so much more to do outside the Hall as well that it really is a full day out. I would definitely highly recommend a visit.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamExcellent
Coast Brasserie @ The Glendower Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaWhilst I have previously had good food here, the manager/owner fell short of behaving professionally last night. My friend ordered a "2 chilli" strength meal. When she tasted it, it was as mild as a korma so she politely asked for it to be a bit more spicy. When the dish was returned to her she took 1 fork full.and it almost blew her head off. It went from 1 extreme to the other. She could not eat it....the waiter seemed to take it very personally & said in 12 years, he had never had a complaint. He then sent over a customer so that she could tell us how nice her meal.had been! She was visiting Lytham & it was her 1st visit. Bizarre request! Anyway my.point is the owner took the criticism of his dish very badly & unprofessionally....he did not charge for the dish but we shall not return due to his attitude
Mohshinas Indian Restaurant – LythamI brought my granddaughter for a viewing of the house and afternoon as she is rather a history geek. She enjoyed the experience immensely. The ladies waiting on us were amazing and could not do enough for us. We could not eat all the afternoon tea so we took our scones home. These were delivered to the table warm. But when we got them home they were hard. This was very disappointing. Also the novel way of presenting the cream in a small jar was not enough to cover the scone.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamWe went for afternoon tea for my husbands birthday. It was so very enjoyable the surroundings beautiful the waitresses dressed up in Victorian outfits couldn't do enough for us. The food was scrumptious fresh and so tasty. Enjoyed a tour of our lovely Lytham Hall before we ate. If anyone wants to buy the perfect gift this has to be it. Can't wait to go again . Thanks Lytham Hall ❤❤
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamWe went for our wedding anniversary. Couldn’t fault the place, nor the service, and certainly not the quality of the food! We splashed out on the “Surf n Turf Greedy Platter” which was absolutely superb. Rump steak, half rack of the most beautiful tender ribs, salmon fillet, half a dozen huge king prawns, calamari rings, chips, ciabatta and some amazingly tasty sauces and a large dollop of purple coleslaw. Wow! We are not lightweights, and we struggled to finish it all! And the wines we chose were the perfect match, her indoors had a rosé wine, I had Malbec which was smooth, fruity and full bodied. Our meal was early evening on a Sunday, and there were not a lot there, although it had obviously been busy earlier, but had a nice chat with the landlord and landlady and another four diners. We will certainly be back!
The Greedy Badger at The Miller Arms – Poulton-Le-FyldeLove it love it love it. Great food, great atmosphere great service. There is nothing not to like about the Buraq. Mr Truth below. I’m not from Blackpool
Buraq – KirkhamWe had a tour of the hall, which is beautiful and very interesting, so were ready to sit down for delicious food served in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very attentive , nothing too much trouble. The Sunday afternoon tea was one of the best .Nice to have a different savouries, not just sandwiches. Warm scones ,trifles and cakes ended a perfect tea.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamAnother excellent evening, made extra special as The Coustics Duo Band were playing. Cocktails were fab and on offer when we visited last Friday. We ordered tapas and all were delicious and freshly made. A great evening out, thank you.
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesCame here Saturday for drinks with friends. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Lovely to sit in the outdoor seating and enjoy the sun.
Thyme – PoultonSuper evening again
The Courtyard – LythamWe picked this restaurant as the reviews on TripAdvisor were very good. We had a selection of Tapas which were all on par with dishes we've had in Spain, beautifully presented and piping hot. Deliciosa! We ordered the cheapest Merlot which again didn't disappoint. The table next to us ordered a burger and a pasta dish which looked very good. Although 54 was quite quiet it had a nice feel about it and the staff were attentive and engaging. We enjoyed our visit so much we booked for breakfast the next morning, the full English & Manx Kippers didn't disappoint. We will definitely be back next time we are in St. Anne's.
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesThe food was very good, particularly the sandwiches. Only small gripe, we had to wait a while for the heated scones. Staff were attentive and pleasent.
