Over the years we have been for several afternoon teas, this was by far the best. We actually won a tea for 2 after attending an outdoor theatre last year ( another wonderful experience). We took my wifes Mum and paid for her, so it was tea for 3. We arrived and asked a lady outside (she had a yellow jacket on as helper) where we needed to go. she did not say go left right or anything like that, she said to walk with her and took us to the door to the house and went in to tell the gentleman there what we were there for. He then took our details and then walked us to the tea room where another gentleman took over. He took us to our table let us get seated and offered drinks. We were able to take in the room and its splended atmosphere of a time gone by . He and a lady served the drinks, he returned with the food on the tower and explained eveything on it. At all times they were both very attentive to our and others needs. The food was excelent and its is difficult to say what was best. At no time did we feel rushed and enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea.

Amazing food! Had the Atlantic prawns to start and the lamb shank for my main and it was superb, the sauce is to die for - highly recommend! The service was lovely too. Can’t wait to come back.

We were on holiday in Blackpool, we wanted to try somewhere special for our 1st anniversary night. A guy in a pub recommended the Buraq and it didn’t disappoint. We opted for the all you can eat buffet and what a fantastic choice of food. We will definitely be back when we visit Blackpool in the future.

With friends who had never been before… (quite fussy..) we all thoroughly enjoyed not only the meal but the dining experience also .. nice attentive staff..and very tasty food .. thanks Thyme..

Went here last night with my mum and daughter! Everything we ordered was gorgeous!!! Super tasty! our waitress Ellie was so attentive, checking all was ok and we were fine for drinks etc. will 100% be back Great good, great service

We have done umpteen afternoon teas but this was far and away the best one. Great service from the off. Food presented wonderfully and tasted even better. The room was beautiful and not overcrowded. Will definitely be visiting again and totally recommend to anyone.

Been here many times but it all depends on who is working in the kitchen that day. Had the mushrooms on toast for brunch, two large slices of toast and just a tiny amount of mushrooms, but disappointing for the money. Coffee is beautiful

I ate at Buraq in Saturday evening. The food was delicious and service excellent. Lovely atmosphere. Would recommend eating at this restaurant
