Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesWe came for Mothering Sunday lunch, from start to finish everything was perfect. The service, our table situated by the window, the lovely jazz band, food and wine. Was all to a high standard. We sat outside on the patio for coffee enjoying the view and listening to the band. To finish it all we were given a small bunch of flowers each My Mum commented that it was one of the best Mothering Sundays she has ever had. I have to agree, thank you so much from us both. A real fine dining experience we won't forget in a hurry.

The place itself is so cosy but classy as well and the staff are equally friendly but professional. I can't wait to go again.

Staining Lodge Golf Course and Glass House – Blackpoolyes, I did indeed book a table-for a much awaited reunion ( 2 of us- friends who had not met for many many months) Much as I have enjoyed previous visits this one did not suit us at all- Regrettably we left without ordering ( of course we first explained our decision to the male member of staff) Reason; it was far too noisy- we could not hold a quite personal conversation at all. Apparently there were 2 weddings taking place -lovely idea for the Bride her guests - but totally unacceptable to others attempting to relax and enjoy a quiet meal.
