We had a lovely meal at Italio. Staff were friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Food was delicious and reasonably priced and accompanied by a nice white wine.

Meal for two last night - Thai food was fabulous will be going again. Price was good as well

We went to the Halloween afternoon tea and had a fabulous time - the setting was amazing and a great afternoon tea and entertainment- a fabulous time!

Fabulous food and very friendly staff. Service was second to none. Atmosphere lovely. Couldn’t fault it at all.

Been here a few times because they serve seafood and fish dishes. The place is very friendly and relaxed. The service is very good and we enjoy crab, scallops and mussels etc. We shared 6 dishes between the 2 of us and it was a little too much but very enjoyable. My only complaint is the amount of oil used in some of the dishes. Some of the bread was swimming in oil. I know olive oil and tapas go hand in hand but I prefer to have the choice to apply it or not. Other than that it would be nice to have langoustines on the menu. Bill was £70. I think some dishes are a little overpriced. We have had brunch here before and it is also very good. I recommend. Its a pity more places don't serve such a variety of seafood. ;)

Had a long weekend in Blackpool and rounded it off with a fabulous meal here on Sunday. Great food , attentive and friendly staff, who looked after us brilliantly. We will be back on our next trip.

TAPAS HEAVEN. Absolutely loved our meal. We have been going to Spanish destinations for over 50 years & this was undoubtedly the best tapas we've ever had. We had the seafood platter, prawns pil pil, scallops & patatas bravas and to complete the Spanish experience, they serve San Miguel on draft.

Love this place. Food was delicious. The staff were so friendly and professional. The atmosphere was lovely. Definitely my new favourite place. Can't wait to go again!

Having a Japanese restaurant in Poulton is a great idea and it is very popular indeed. The menu is small but perfectly formed.; after all: it is better to do a few dishes very well than lots of small dishes averagely. Had we not eaten at a superb Japanese restaurant in Harrogate in the summer, I would have rated the food at Gochu as excellent. As it is, I would say it is good. The service wasn’t great though, I’m afraid. We were sat for 55 minutes before a drink or food appeared and reorders of drinks were slow to appear. The atmosphere was fine: the restaurant was busy and fairly full. Taking into account the service and food, I’d be hard-pressed to say it provided value for money. I don’t begrudge paying for great food and great service but this didn’t quite hit the mark. Sad because this would have become a regular for us. As a new restaurant in a small town Gochu needs to attract returning customers: locals and needs to work a bit harder to do so.

Funky interior design, a good playlist and interesting cocktails....that's a great start, with prompt service and a comfortable corner table on the middle floor (which was full at 9.15pm on a wednesday, and buzzing with chatter and a friendly vibe). The menu offers a range of portion sizes, from snacks thru to full mains which you can mix and match 'tapas'style if you wish. All beautifully presented, generous in size, and proper tasty. Not the cheapest, but prices justified by quality ingredients making it a welcome addition to the poulton dining scene. Nearly 3 months in, and they already have plenty of regulars, so they are clearly doing it right!.
