There’s a lovely feel to the Farmers and the all-round package of décor, food and staff is a winner. I would be quite happy if this was my local; sadly, it isn’t.

Farmers Arms – Great EcclestonDid you know you can’t pay cash here? It’s one of the only places I know that is completely card only. But assuming you negotiate that hurdle this place really is to be recommended. Professional and friendly staff (the two don’t always go hand-in-hand) and a bit of a metro vibe. The menu changes every few months but the steaks (an ever-present) are top quality and the curry on the menu is generally very good too.
Cafe Grand – Grand Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaEat here with friends quite often on a Friday night and always order off the Grill menu so we can take advantage of the free wine offer but was disappointed last night to find out that the Zinfandel Rose is no longer an option . Could it not be made available at a suppliment?
Station Pub and Grill – LythamThe term hidden gem is overused. I know most of the restaurants and cafes in Lancashire but I didn't know about this one. Beautifully located cafe in a very lush and well designed greenhouse. Lovely touches all over and some beautiful gardens and seating outside. Quality food and service.
The Cafe at Stydd Gardens – PrestonGreat spot for some tasty tapas in the centre of Blackpool. They also do paella for two if you're not in a rush.
Salud Tapas – BlackpoolShame the young girl where nail varnish it not very hygienic
Newton Hall Fish and Chips – Poulton-Le-FyldeLovely meal. Attentive service. If I have find a negative ( which is hard) very busy Saturday night and felt meal was rushed, would have liked a slightly longer pause between starter and main. Won't stop us going back but maybe miss the starter and go straight to the main.
The Lemon Tree Indian Restaurant – Poulton-Le-FyldeOne of my favourite spots in Lytham. Has a unique feel to it.
Barrique Wine Bar and Deli – LythamFirst time here after a few visits to its St Annes predecessor. They had a few staffing problems in the kitchen so the food took a while but we were in a group and had an enjoyable evening. It’s good to have Greek as an alternative option to the ubiquitous Italian.
Olive Tree Brasserie – LythamMy son and his wife come here and so we went tonight with the family to celebrate my retirement. Would highly recommend it we all had the mini meze and my husband had the steak. The food was amazing and good value for money would definitely come here again . The staff were very friendly.
Go Greek – BlackpoolGreat looking place. Our food was good. Staff needed more training.
Olive Tree Brasserie – LythamWe love your cafe/restaurant. It has become our favourite place to eat when we visit Lytham. The food is excellent, staff are lovely. Please keep up your good work and be in Lytham for many years to come. We thank you.
Shambles – LythamBest Chinese in the Fylde coast arguably. great food and service. husband and wife team front of house and kitchen. Had the seabass last night and sweet and sour prawns.
Lou-Shang Cantonese Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaI'd booked for a celebratory lunch for some friends from work, and the experience was great from initial enquiry to final exit. Friendly polite staff, a really good menu selection that catered for the keen carnivores, the vegetarians and the vegans with minimum fuss and maximum efficiency. Highly recommended. Thank you to the Station Pub and Grill for making my last day at work with friends, great.
Station Pub and Grill – LythamTook my mum for Mother's Day and we shared the seafood platter, it was absolutely lovely, washed down with a bottle of Prosecco whilst listening to the crooning sounds of Tony Benedict. Perfect way to spend Mother's Day! Mum also received a free mini bottle of Prosecco and some chocolates, nice touch.
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesGreat atmosphere and exceptional service. Serving traditional Italian cuisine with some quirky specials. Reasonably priced, intimate dining. Portion sizes quite small and the tomato sauce on the pizzas tasted like baked bean juice?
Nonna Carla – GarstangBest beer on the Fylde Coast. FACT as judged by CAMRA. Love this little pub. Good atmosphere and nice people. And as for the ale...first class!
The Craft House – LythamDropped in on a Friday night and I think we timed it right as by the time we were leaving it was absolutely packed. Nice meal - we had the chicken chilli massala and chicken korma.
