Ashfield Guest House – Isle of ManHad a good pizza here the other night but avoid the Montepulciano D’Abruzzo red wine at all costs. It’s the cheapest on the list and there’s a reason for that!
Bosco – LythamFirst time diner at this restaurant food beautifully presented extremely delicious service second to none staff friendly and attentive compliments to whoever the chef is all I can say is we'll be back over and over.
Oriental Village – BisphamOften pop in for breakfast with my wife and young son. Very friendly and accomodating, plus the eggs rancheros is a very welcome unique option some mornings.
Zest Food & Wine Bar – LythamVery handy for Sunday lunch take away if you place your order early enough. Have always been very happy with the food; the beef in particular. Decent carved hot sandwiches at lunchtime - kind of picked up where Todderstaffe’s left off - and a great lemon pound cake.
Le Roti – LythamStopped in for lunch last week. Decent sharing platter followed by a couple of pizzas. Arguably the most authentic pizza in Lytham with some key ingredients imported rather than procured from local wholesale. Some excellent traditional trattoria style dishes offered as specials keep things interesting without overcharging. Makes for a great experience. Service very friendly as ever and great to see them turning a brisk trade for a Fri.
Farina 2.0 – LythamWent to Milano’s on Friday for the first time since it reopened after its makeover and was very impressed. There’s a new bar and seating area as you enter and alongside the regular menu there are now daily fish and seafood specials for both starters and mains. Halibut, lemon sole and Dover sole all featured when we were there. Highly recommended!
Milano’s Mediterranean Restaurant – KirkhamBeen coming here since I was 10! I'm now 46. A stalwart of the Fylde coast dining scene since 1981. great food, service and atmosphere.
Tiggis St Annes – St. Annes-On-SeaFantastic food at a very competitive price. Service excellent and staff always very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone on a trip to Fleetwood. Excellent 10/10
The Cafe Royal – FleetwoodThe lady behind the counter is so rude! Very short and rude with customers. You never get what you ask for on your sandwich, she always gets it wrong then is horrible to you when you try and ask for what you originally ask for. Would not recommend anyone to go here.
Nosh Sandwich Shop – BlackpoolLovely little tearoom out of the way in Lytham. Has character and we both really enjoyed our meals. Welsh Rarebit and a panini with soup side. Cake and tea for afters!
The Black Sheep Tearoom – LythamAwesome chilli, rea chunks of meat. Good entertainment too!
Ember and Vine – St AnnesGreat news that Stefani's is now open in Blackpool! Awesome pizza, thin crust with a gorgeous garlicy red sauce base. Wood fired oven and you can get pizza by the slice too! In a great spot in Cedar Square too. Will always use when in Blackpool!
Stefani’s Pizzeria – BlackpoolPleasant atmosphere. Staff very helpful and very accommodating and good with the kids. Food excellent
Bridge42 Bar and Grill – Poulton-Le-FyldeFive star
The Deacon – LythamDon't know what Lisa has a problem with, food and service excellent. The best sausage barm I've ever had. Perhaps it's Lisa that is lacking in charm
Nosh Sandwich Shop – BlackpoolReally bad service, most of food was ok but my chicken tasted off and when we complained they argued that all the rest of the chickens in that batch had been fine. Great, except another in our party who had that chicken dish had a bad stomach the next day. Rest of food not really great - bad to mediocre, depending on the dish - and service was abysmal. Someone should explain to chef what chicken Kiev is. We had to keep getting up for our own drinks, and we ended up cutting short our evening. We complained at the time but the response was a long way from satisfactory. Will be writing a formal complaint about a long list of issues.
Shard Riverside Inn – Poulton-Le-FyldeExcellent Cafe that cooks real home made meals. They do Sausage, Egg & Chips (my fav as a kid) perfectly.
