Ambrosini in Blackpool’s South Shore has become something of a cult restaurant so I felt grateful just to get a reservation when I booked at short notice recently. It’s a tiny venue in a quiet part of town and is at root simply an old school Italian that does the basics very well and as a result has built up a loyal local clientele. Friendly staff and tasty food – what more do you want from your local neighbourhood Italian.

Tijuana is a cool little Mexican takeaway where Ghandi used to be. Run by young lads into their food. We had 2 burritos and both were very tasty. The slaw could have done with more mayo as it was very dry. Chips were good too. Like the logo and the design of the place. Think a restaurant could be next!

Now under new ownership. Dropped in on the off chance after a trip to the optician’s. They have modified the lighting (which was previously very bright) and updated the menu. The new owner Hussein is very friendly too. We enjoyed our meal and will be back.

Enjoyed a fantastic meal on Monday. Service great and staff welcoming and friendly.

Visited Cincos in Poulton le Fylde really enjoyed the food, staff were extremely polite, happy atmosphere, manager was very professional nothing was too much trouble for him. Would recommend to other people, but book in advance as it s very popular.

After going to the original at Cleveleys, it was time to try the new one on Dickson Road. We went with two friends and had a fabulous meal. The furnishings were homely and the staff very helpful. As usual the the menu was vast with a 2 course special. Well Pleased.

Stumbled across this chippy when out for a walk, waiting for the illuminations to be switched on. Decided to use the diner and was well pleased with the friendly, polite and helpful young staff, a credit to the establishment, the food was good as well.

This chippy seems to have a new owner, fish was first class and the peas to die, for worth a visit.

Tip top evening at the Hand and Dagger. Enjoyed a lovely meal with very well cared for Moorhouse's Ale. My wife thought her hake excellent and my steak and ale pie was too. The landlord is a character and kept us entertained! A tip, take a walk down the cancel tow path before or after your meal, very pleasant!

Was pleasant enough. I had lamb tagine which was ok 6.5 out of 10 and my partner had sea bass 7. Waitress and service good, pleasant and chatty. Fairly standard. Reasonable with bottle of merlot, afters and a coffee liqueur for £69. Overall experience 6.85 for Ego Lytham.

The food is very good unfortunately, the service is abysmal. The wait for one cold starter and one warm starter was an hour and a half and we were told that it was our fault as we had said we weren't in a rush! The owner is extremely arrogant and let us know that this is what happens when you have a busy restaurant! We weren't the only guests complaining that evening. Every table downstairs was made to wait an inordinate amount of time for each course.

Nice place, good food but what a shame about the gentleman's lavatory. Would suggest you take a peg and a pair of waders!

I had not been back to Go Greek for some time, and tried the new Olive Tree in Preston -BIG MISTAKE - so if you want an authentic Greek meal with atmosphere and good Greek cooking don't go elsewhere. I won't try anywhere else again.

Visited Thorpey's tonight 27th sept 2015, food was excellent, fresh and tasty, and staff were also excellent and very friendly. Will definitely be returning. Thanks Corrado vr6.

RUBBISH SERVICE. Part of meal not delivered waited half an hour still nothing, called and asked for money back and staff were rude. I would recommend that you spend your hard earned cash elsewhere.

Had lunch today food very nice. Very welcoming and locals friendly creating a really nice atmosphere. Additional bonus was that we could take the dog in as the pub is dog friendly. Every credit .

Everyone should go here at least once a month. Great place.
