One of the lights went out and the waitresses were Liverpudlians. The Earl Grey was horrible, I blame the cafe. The chocolate fudge cake was atrocious but apart from that I loved it.

Coffee Bean, The – LythamCHARGED EXTRA DUE TO MY ALLERGY Was there for my Partners birthday. Food and presentation was good. VERY SMALL PORTIONS which would not fill a 3 year old. I had corned beef hash I asked for this without the egg as I have an allergy, I was asked would I like a cheese topping instead and was charged £1 extra. We were not asked if everything was ok with the meal as other restaurants do, when I asked if the apple pie contained egg, the reply was surprising "it may or may not". The place was cold no heating on, the staff decided to do some very noisy table removing dragging not lifting chairs while we were having dessert. Our custom was not acknowledged when leaving, drinks expensive. Extremely poor service, very disappointed, will never return. Better service and plenty food at any carvery.
Ship at Elswick – Great EcclestonAs I am from London I didn't now where to go to get something to eat, ended up at whispers. My family and I had an amazing meal including wine and coffee. Service excellent staff are very friendly and polite. Well recommended. The lamb shank was ace! Will definitely return.
Whispers – LythamLast Friday, Preston's Advanced Motorists' Group had a meal out at the Hand and Dagger and I went along as well. The overall evening was excellent with the atmosphere, help from the landlord and the food as there were over twenty of us. I have visited for a drink as I cycle or drive past but this was an evening which will bring me back from time to time instead of just a drink. Top marks for standards and service.
Hand and Dagger – KirkhamChina Red is great for people with food intolerances. They understood the concept of no wheat/gluten/dairy and catered beautifully for me, so that I could eat with my family. They even made something for each course while the others ate the banquet, so I didn't have to wait for just a main course. Well done China Red - we need more retaurants like yours.
China Red – Poulton-Le-FyldeAnother nice meal at Red Fort in Lytham. I was on a diet and my tip for Indian food when you’re counting the calories is Chicken Tikka followed by Lamb Shashlik (and of course sparkling water instead of Cobra!).
Red Fort – LythamWas looking forward to visiting but have been put off about the staff needing more training. .......surely ths staff are supposed to sell their establishment!
Prezzo – St. Annes-On-SeaUsed Le Roti in Lytham a couple of times now and been impressed both times. Once just for a lunchtime sandwich and again for a takeaway roast chicken dinner! Tres Bon!
Le Roti – LythamI do like Prezzo. I have been in a few times for lunch and love the spaghetti Bolognese. I always avail of the lunchtime deal which at £9.95 is great value.
Prezzo – St. Annes-On-SeaFIRST VISIT EXCELLENT STARTERS LOOKED SUPERB AND TASTED BETTER THAN THAT. HUSBAND HAD THE LAMB SHANK I HAD A TRADITIONAL ITALIAN MEAL BOTH EXCELLENT. NICE CLASSY ATMOSPHERE GOOD FOR JUST A COUPLE BUT WOULD BE VERY HAPPY TO BRING FAMILY INCLUDING THE 4 YEAR OLD WHICH WE WILL DO SOON. STAFF AND SERVICE COULD NOT BE FAULTED
Italio – BlackpoolWe have eaten at this restaurant on a number of occasions. The team are very customer friendly, the food was lovely, I felt valued and welcome. My border terrier was welcomed upstairs. I will return, just love the experience.
Whispers – Lytham22 of us came for a delicious meal on Monday it was served up very hot. Waitresses looked after us well and we were very happy with all the experience. Thank you.
Royal Oak Hotel – GarstangHad a meal in Henry’s for the first time in quite a few months on Friday and was very impressed. I got there very early around 5.30 and had the place to myself initially. It looked stunning all laid up ready for service. They have really got the decor and lighting spot on with the latest refurb. We were all happy with the food too although with the post-Xmas diet all I had was the Cajun Chicken Caesar Salad. Only slight gripe was the coffee which despite two attempts never got beyond lukewarm.
Henry’s – LythamTop class venue, food perfect, service great, brilliant entertainment. I have been re-living my youth since I discovered the Sands. Reminds of the clubs in Manchester I used to frequent except everything much better at the Sands. No1 Fan!
The Sands Venue – BlackpoolMy review for Prezzo restaurant St Annes. Pro's; Child friendly, fresh and new, spacious, good location in the square, two cool circular banquet seating tables, food was very pleasant. Con's; Service was hit and miss, Though brand new the place is a bit dreary and lacks ambience. We were also amused by the 80's Buck Rogers style central chandelier. With the buying power of Prezzo you would of thought the place would have had some wow-factor.
Prezzo – St. Annes-On-SeaJust got back from the Grapes, called as an off chance on a Sunday, car park had a few cars on but the place was nearly empty. It was a cold day, and there heating wasn't up to much, but the food was very good, Steak was a bit stringy, bery nice chicken and beef burger and the beer, hand-pumps was Worsthorne Real ales. Both well kept. Needs a bit bore athmosphere and a bit warmer, but l would go again.
The Grapes at St Michaels – GarstangHad a great birthday lunch today with my family at Nuvo.
Nuvo – Poulton-Le-FyldeAbsolutely love coming here several times a week. lovely helpful staff, amazing food, great chips, super coffee. An oasis of excellence which we are so glad to have found. Can get busy at times but they cope well.
