Loved this place. Has that low key, edge of a city vibe. A lovely antidote to the pretentious restaurants that try too hard with huge menus. This place had 6 tables I think and operates a BYO system and nice short tight menu. Great to able to take in a good bottle of wine without paying a fortune for it. We had a very authentic Paella that we ordered a couple of days before and meatballs to start. Both were excellent. Heard the pizzas are especially good so will be trying those next time.

This is a new Indian that’s opened in Lytham at what used to be the Thai place on Henry Street. My friend and I dropped in late Friday night after a few beers around town and had a very good meal there. If you like spicy dishes, try their Chicken Special. The owner is a friendly chap too and I’m sure this place will do well. Recommended.

Highly recommend. Love to eat here the duck and pancakes is the best in Blackpool!! Well Done guys keep up the good work.

First visit for breakfast yesterday - very poor service. Although seated and order taken efficiently waited over half an hour for food - then only toast brought to table which wasn't hot then breakfast came - nothing special, then finally got our teas. Expensive for quality and service. As we were waiting customers were leaving and complaining!

I recommend Go Greek in Layton, Blackpool for a lovely evening out... Great atmosphere... but more importantly the food is gorgeous and very authentic..... lovely dips.... lots of appetizers and great starters.. the mains are great too...but sometimes its nice just to try a few different starters ..... great evening out...

Enjoyed my lunch in Zest today in lovely surroundings. This really is a place where ladies lunch, we were the only 2 blokes in there I think.

First found this place on Sugarvine and now go about every 3 weeks. Last went for my fathers birthday. I had scallops which were very good. Mother lamb shank which she enjoyed. Laid back place and a nice trip out from St Annes.

Having eaten from this restaurant before (takeaway about 5 years ago) I was looking forward visiting again for a friends birthday. But I very quickly found that the standards have drastically slipped in the years since my last visit. Firstly myself and my partner were standing at the bar for about 20 minutes before ordering our drinks which would have been understandable had it been busy but there were only 4 people in front of us, one of whom ordered a pint of Cobra only to be offered a pint that had been sat behind the bar for at least 10 minutes and when he requested a fresh pint, the waiter just said "no there's nothing wrong with that one". After being seated for a few minutes I was a little shocked to see a waiter pick up a fork that had fallen on the floor, wipe it on his jeans and place it back on the table next to me. My level of concern rose after some of us had opted for the banquet and soon discovered that the tandoori chicken was actually raw and bloody in the middle, after a number of us had complained about this to the manager, he told us that if we wanted the chicken well done we should have asked for it. Silly me, I didn't realise that some people prefer to eat their chicken raw. He didn't even remove the raw chicken from the table so it sat there all night. Following the chicken issue there were 5 of us (out of 20) who didn't eat anything at all so in an attempt to avoid any issues at the end of the night I spoke to the manager to explain that there would be 5 of us who will not be eating and to remove our meals from the bill, he simply said he would sort it out later. When we went to pay he refused to remove any more than 2 meals from the bill and then threatened to call the police if we didn't pay, he finally agreed to remove the 5 meals from the bill and we happily paid for the remaining 15. The managers attitude was absolutely disgraceful, especially following an issue as serious as raw chicken and at no point did we receive anything that even came close to an apology. It's safe to say that we will not be visiting Saffron again.

It was a very quite restaurant which i dont know why as the food is fantastic. Had starters which was very filling with very fresh soft tasty bread. Service is very good and friendly staff. Will go there again for sure. Highly recommended.

We visited the Gurka Legends restaurant in August 2012. The food is very tasty with subtle flavours. The manager Tommy was very attentive and knowledgable and we left the place feeling full and happy.

Hence what its cheap....disgusting....I know a chef that works there who has very poor hygiene....never washes his hands all day...looks are very decieving

we have been to the Boot and Shoe now a couple of times and never been disappointed. the food is always good home made food and very good value for money. not your cheap packet mash like you get at some two for a tenner, but very good fresh food. just go and fined out for yourselves.

Very welcoming staff and great nepalese food.Ten out of ten for food. Six of us enjoyed a lovely evening at Gurcha Legends topped wit great service and nice wine. Highly recommended.

First time tried Nepalese food and it was delicious. Tommy was a great host in advising us what to eat and his recommendations were excellent. We used the Deal Monster voucher but happy to pay full price when we return, which we will next time we up that way!

“I visited Ghurkha Legends in August. As a party of 4 we enjoyed the wide selection of Nepalese food which was well prepared & cooked. Tommy, the owner of the business, was extremely attentive & knowledgeable about the food. Although he had a Nepalese Chef he explained that he could also cook all the dishes himself which goes a long way towards interpreting the needs & wants of his customers. We consumed a considerable amount of wine & were more than pleasantly surprised to receive a bill averaging out at £25.00 per head. An excellent evening, we shall certainly return”.

This restaurant has superb food

4 of us stayed the week end 7th-10th sept it is the nicest little hotel with great selection of food for breakfast. rooms immaculate towels changed daily owners lorna and john are two of the most pleasant people you could meet nothing too much bother a real personal touch. we had standard double rooms with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable rooms are beautifully decorated tv, coffee/tea making facilities hair dryer ,iron if needed ask at reception. the hotel is near the beach,trams and bus stops, I would highly recommend this little hotel.
