Food good. My experience of some of the staff is poor. Lady behind counter was unfortunately rude and lacking in customer service skills.

Thorpeys – GarstangI was working in this area that week, the place look pretty impressive from outside so I walked in. I would rate the service 5* the food 5*. The had a lamb shank curry with a generous minced lamb on the side with chapatti! Delicious!!! Thank you to the Moghul Team!
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaI am a frequent visitor to the Red Fort and have always found the standard of service to be excellent. The food is of a high standard. I always enjoy the atmosphere and find the early bird menu excellent value.
Red Fort – LythamWent last month had a great meal, really good service and food good value for money. Will be returning again soon.
Rowley’s at Blackpool FC Hotel – BlackpoolMy folks used to live just up the road from here and it was always somewhere you passed by, just a riverside pub. Not any more! It's a must visit, even if you only call in for refreshment and to take in the estuary view. That would be a shame though as the cuisine is very good and the extensive menu chock full of dishes featuring local produce. Even at the busiest times, the service if excellent, the portions very generous and the ambience is super too. We only had one small criticism that the main course accompaniments could have been a bit lighter and more complementary. As we stayed for the weekend we also get to sample the excellent breakfasts too, which boast a truly com prhensive menu - featuring super kippers and smoked haddock. We'll be back (soon)!
Shard Riverside Inn – Poulton-Le-FyldeCalled in for a bag of chips, £1.55 for a small bag the chips were uneatable threw the lot in the bin. Cold dry must have been reheated a lot of times. Will never go in this shop again.
Pisces Fish and Chips – FleetwoodLike the smoked haddock and mash very much. However the bacon needs to be crispy and it wasnt.
Queens Hotel – LythamExcellent food and girls are fantastic xxx
Carousel Licensed Diner – Thornton-CleveleysTerrific fish and chips - you won't find fresher fish, lighter batter or such perfectly cooked chips anywhere else and as for the mushy peas, just the tastiest ever. Friendly welcome, great service and a top cuppa, can't get a better lunch than at Thornton Fisheries. We'll be back!
Thornton Fisheries – Thornton-CleveleysAte here on recommendation from foodie friends and it's very good but we expected the best ever after the plaudits of top chefs too. Don't get me wrong the fish was beautifully fresh, batter nice and crispy if a little oily, good chips and unusual Tartare sauce; we just felt it hadn't quite lived up to the billing. The atmosphere and ambience like the service was OK but not especially welcoming. Still the prices are very reasonable and the wine measures very generous.
Whelans – LythamEaten here a number of times and will definitely be coming back again..and again! Freshest fish, beautifully battered with excellent chips - everything cooked to perfection and nice friendly service too. Decor is the best I've seen - cozy and slightly quaint. Just don't wear your freshest clothes as all those years of frying have imparted their fragrance in the dining room - but don't worry the cooking oil, like the food is really fresh.
The Cottage – BlackpoolFabulous Italian!!!!Excellent food, all half price which is even better. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, the staff are friendly, you are made to feel like a friend not a customer.Highly recommend.
Vesuvio – Blackpool4 of us dined hear on Friday night and ordered 4 seperate currys' - chicken Karahi, chicken lahori, chicken madras and chicken salone. All meals tasted exactly the same, except for the extra chilli powder in the Salone. How do you explain that one??!!!! Plus the Tarka Dall was very poor, full of chilli's and reheated!!!!! Anyway you don't need to be a rocket scientist, to guess that we won't be eating here again!
Michaels Indian Restaurant – Thornton-CleveleysThis was the first time I ordered from this place and the masala was rubbish. The sauce had a strong sour taste and the onion bhaji was shaped like a fishcake which looked like it was bought from an indian wholesaler
Ali Baba Takeaway – BlackpoolWent to this place with family. The interior is very dated . Staff are pleasant. Food shocking. My main dish arrived burnt . When this was brought to the attention of staff they simply replied "I shall tell the chef" I will never eat there again. Food is shocking!!!
Mimmo’s Italian Restaurant – Thornton-CleveleysMe and a Lady friend arrived at the pub on a hired narrowboat, we were given excellent service, then on our return trip 3 days later we encountered a problem with the boat and needed tools, the guy behind the bar found the tools at the pub, we fixed the problem and stayed for a meal, the Landlord is a really friendly and helpful guy. I recommend this for both the great food and the welcome. 5 star
Hand and Dagger – KirkhamNot been here for years, what a very pleasant surprise. We will definitely be coming again. Excellent service, very welcoming and friendly without being intrusive, lovely sense of humour and good fun We had the £10 special (with extras, garlic bread like it should be! Good sized portions, the cannelloni is the best I've ever had. Obviously lots of regular customers, what more can one wish for. Superb Italian food cooked to perfection thank you Mimos! Please change those horrible overhead lights, you promised ! Xx
Mimmo’s Italian Restaurant – Thornton-CleveleysI visited the Moghul for the fist time in may years. The refurb is good but would benefit from having been painted in warmer colours and perhaps made a little cosier. However, the food was outstanding and the service afforded us was excellent. Will definitely revisit .
