Cottage Chippie IS NOW TERRIBLE!.....I have never had such awful fish and chips in my life! The chips were cold over cooked scraps and had more eyes and bad bits than good, the fish batter was undercooked, far to much and the fish tasteless.! The Cottage Chippie used to be the best in Blackpool! this is the 3rd time in the last month we have tried their takeaway ,thinking it may have been a bad day? however each time it has been awful. Never again, It's such a shame to see a right good Chippie go down the pan, and destroy a good name. PS. if you ask for fish and chips twice surely that does not mean you want a large portion of chips and 2 fish in a tray????

Wonderful atmosphere, very much down to Ahad Ali and his team.. The food is consistently excellent - as regular attenders on varying days including weekends - this is a first class Indian restaurant. Highly recommended

I had my 50th Birthday Party in the spirit room at the venue on Saturday March 10th. The food, a hog roast for 170 guests was excellent, everyone was commenting on how good the food was. The staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them, the disco catered well for the mixed audience making the atmosphere fantastic! A great night was enjoyed by all, please say a big thanks to all the staff who made my night so fantastic, BIG THANK YOU!! Wendy Whiteside

If you are looking for an outstanding Indian restaurant then the Red Fort is the one for you. Ahad and his Team are extremely helpful and friendly and will offer you guidance, if required, on the extensive range of dishes available. Try it and see - you won't be disappointed.

Nine of us went for my son's 18th birthday and had an excellent evening. The staff were welcoming and very friendly all evening. We had phoned earlier to ask if we could drop off a birthday cake and balloons before we came. This was no problem. the food was great, cooked perfectly and well presented. When the cake was brought out we were offered plates if we wanted to eat some then but we were too full and a nice touch, everyone was brought a complimentary glass of wine. Everyone said afterwards how much they had enjoyed the restaurant and will definitely be back. Thanks to all the staff for their hard work.

Rude landlord, landlady useless, dirty toilets, food still frozen bar staff that seem put out having to stop and serve...horrendous.

Great service, and lovely food. Also very good value for money. Plenty of vegetarian options. Comfortable seats and pleasant decoration. Lovely relaxed evening with friends.

My children aged 5 and 9 love going to the Cottage Chippy...whenever we ask where they would like to go for tea or lunch the Cottage is always first choice !! My 9 year old son always polishes of the largest fish on the menu !!

We have had a few excellent meals at the refurbished Sparling and would be delighted to return anytime. The menu has a good choice and the food is delicious , plentiful and of a very high standard.....a true modern Gastro Pub. Front of House Neal is always most welcoming & attentive, always checking to make sure everything is to your liking. In addition he keeps a good choice of Hand - pulled Real Ales ....always delicious.....of which he is rightly proud. The whole experience is reasonably priced and we would (and do!) recommend this great Gastro Pub to anyone who enjoys and appreciates their food & drink. (This must be worth a free pint next time, Neal??)
