The Pavilion – St. Annes-On-SeaSo the MAYA Indian Restaurant and Take Away, We waited an hour without any contact. A drink reluctantly offered at the 40 min Mark. The food was varied. They forgot to pack one starter. The foo wasn't hot just warm. The korma had a kick to it which was nice but the byriani wasn't at all spicy. the garlic naan was garlic absent. Verdict 2/5. Will avoid due to long waiting times and poor food standards.
Maya – Poulton-Le-Fyldewe had never tried Turkish food before but will certainly be going back for to Anatolia again the food was a delight as was the service we saw the meats being cooked on the barbecue before us the Turkish dream was wonderful a very enjoyable evening
Anatolia – St. Annes-On-SeaReviews on here somewhat out of date as this is no longer a Tapas Restaurant. It is, however, a superb cafe, our favourite in the whole area. There is a lovely atmosphere, the friendliest of owners, the food is lovely and beautifully presented. Our three year old always looks thrilled if we mention going to Zumo. There is also a superb crazy golf course on site to keep the children entertained. Highly recommended.
Zumo Cafe – Garstanggood food nice bacon buttys good price for others
Nosh Sandwich Shop – BlackpoolBeen visiting this chippy for several years most Friday nights. We travel about 15 miles to get there because its the best one in the area. Always tasty, well cooked food and quick, friendly service
Bellamy’s Great Eccleston Fish Bar – Great EcclestonEXCELLENT!!!!! We went today for lunch, and I can honestly say that it is the best pub food we've had for a long time! The pate was beautiful, the garlic mushrooms to die for, and the mixed grill HUGE! Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, good beer - highly recommended to anyone!!
The Grapes at St Michaels – GarstangExcellent restaurant bright and cheerful both the decor and the staff the food is very well presented and delivers a pleasant kick as stated on the menu will be back
Red Fort – LythamThe best chicken byriani I've ever had and the garlic naan was also really nice. Won't be going anywhere else from now on. Very reasonable prices and service was second to non.
Indian Orchard – BisphamStayed here recently whilst on business and I was really impressed with the whole experience. Lovely decor, smart bedroom and great staff. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for affordable boutique-style accommodation in the area.
Mode Hotel – St. Annes-On-Seagood food very nice and clean, very friendly staff what more do you want
Sugarcubed Coffee – BlackpoolThe first time my family and I ate here, the food and service was good. Although having been on several occasions since, I have found that the standard of both have drastically deteriorated. On my last, and most definitely final, experience at Portofino, my friend and I were left in the waiting area for 20 minutes without being offered a drink. When we were finally shown to our (wobbly) table our starters were brought to us and before I had finished eating, my plate was taken away as I was abruptly told that my main course was coming. I ordered a linguini dish and had to wait around as they had forgotten to bring me a spoon. The meals were tasteless and not once did a waiter/waitress come to our table to offer more drinks or ask if the meal was OK. Instead they proceeded to congregate in front of our table and squabble amounts themselves. We shall not eat here again. If you want a good Italian restaurant, go to Bosco or Sapori, they are both superb.
Portofino – LythamGreat food with an unrushed and friendly service, the price is right so we just keep going there
Le Bistro – Thornton-CleveleysThis is far and away the best coffee shop; in Blackpool...and we've tried a few! Friendly, well priced. Very relaxing.
Sugarcubed Coffee – BlackpoolRecently dined here and experienced good service, friendly staff and a very nice meal. I would highly recommend it
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-Seathe food was not very tasty or spicy and the rice was the worst i(i had to chop and break it up on my plate)have ever seen or tasted it was in big sticky clumps and not the slightest bit fluffy . the service was also poor i had to wait 10-15 minutes after the last of my party had been served. i had not been to eat here for 5 years as it was a bad experience last time and i was hoping it had changed
Thai by Night – Poulton-Le-FyldeJust been to the Anatolia with my wife and what an nice experience that was. As expected, it was great. The food quality and the quantity was excellent. The owner and the chef, both Turkish, couldn't have done enough to make us feel welcome. After the lahmacuns as starter, we tried lamb skewers and the traditional iskender dish, accompanied with salad and Turkish naan bread. Next time we'll definitely order some Turkish Efes beer as well. I recommend this friendly and classy restaurant to anyone who has a taste for good Turkish food. Not be mistaken with small kebab shops in St Annes.
