Pablo’s Fish and Chips – BlackpoolThe is the best Indian restaurant in the North West and probably the whole of the UK! The staff and manager are always very attentive and the atmosphere is great whether you want an intimate dinner for two or are celebrating a family special occasion this is the place for you. I have tried numerous dishes and the manager always lets you have exactly what you want, whether that be to change the meat in the dish, remove a certain vegetable or make it more or less spicy. My husband and I have been going to this restaurant since 2009 and will continue to go at least once a week for as long as we live in Lancashire, highly recommend this Indian delight to everyone.
Red Fort – LythamWe had Fish & Chips from here last night and as a hotelier here in Blackpool, I thought that it was not very nice the fish was greasy and the chips where like rubber not going here again.
Pablo’s Fish and Chips – BlackpoolMyself and partner visited yesterday and received the most appalling ignorant service. When we arrived we waited to be seated as instructed by a sign and waited and waited while the one female waiting staff just continued to ignore us, not even an acknowledgement. We decided to seat ourselves and a further 15 minutes passed whilst the waitress walked by our table a few times again being just ignored. There were only a few tables in and it would be difficult not to see new customers. Three other customers came in and after a while were greeted with a grunt by the same waitress and told to find their own table. We then just got up and left and went to another eatery round the corner. We will not be going there again. We both live in Blackpool and our friends have also commented on how poor the service is there when they gave been. Thumbs definitely down for this venue.
West Coast Rock Cafe – Blackpoolthe Red Fort is an excellent Indian restaurant with very friendly staff and attentive service, lovely decor and a great menu to choose from. Never been disappointed with the food and Ahad, the manager, is extremely helpful and has a greater knack of remembering what sort of curry you l tend to choose.. If you like the sound of a particular dish but it is rated too hot for your palate Ahad will make sure the dish comes out just as you like it. He will even give you flexibility, within reason, to create your own dish if you have a hankering for a certain combo of spices. The restaurant is spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. They also do a great takeaway service for you if required and when you come to collect they give you a complimentary drink whilst you wait which is a really nice touch or they will have the food delivered by taxi. This is by far the best Indian for miles around and well worth the visit.
Red Fort – LythamBest Indian food on the fylde coast. Fact!
The Lemon Tree Indian Restaurant – Poulton-Le-FyldeNice food, lots of variety on the menu and friendly service.
Red Fort – LythamBeen to Blackpool for the last three years and eaten here every night, simply brilliant value for money and my son will not eat anywhere else, it makes a change to find a restaurant this good, coming again in October 2012.
The Eating Inn – BlackpoolHi Paul Here from the Dunes hotel, thankyou for the nice review we have just received with regard to the table service and the wow factor,we are pleased that you have enjoyed your time here at the Dunes and we would be grateful if you could tell your family and friends of the changes to the pub,we hold poker nights, quiz nights and also charity nights, look forward to seeing you again soon and thanks from every one at the Dunes Hotel
Dunes – BlackpoolVery disappointed with my first meal returning to the Fairhaven. There were 4 of us eating. (Thursday 7.30pm). We had to wait nearly 40 minutes for food, then a further 5 minutes for the condiments. The gammon was fatty, egg shell in the fried egg, under cooked chips and cheap mayonnaise. There is no wine list and only one bottle of red wine on offer!. The bill was £62 for a very disappointing meal. The plates then stayed on the table for another 25 minutes until I took them all and placed them on the bar. You also need to advertise that 2 for £10 meals finish at 5pm! It then becomes expensive and poor value for what is being offered.
The Fairhaven – LythamHad a table booked at 7 o clock for a birthday meal, we were still not seated nor had our orders been taken by 7.30 although many other people who seemed regulars and had come in after us were seated with their orders taken! After my husband having to ask if we could order our food, and be seated, we then had to wait over 45 minutes for our food whilst watching people who arrived after us enjoying theirs!! Our food order was wrong, the chips were hard all in all would rather the food as mediocre, staff were not particularly helpful at all and after asking were our food was they just replied they were serving another table first (who arrived after us!!) . Would not go again in a million years
Ashiana Tandoori Restaurant – KirkhamTwo of us visited la dolce vita on a busy Friday evening and found the staff to be more than welcoming, the food was amazing flavourful and brilliantly cooked, but more noticeable was the quality of service nothing was too much at any point. We were allowed to make alterations to the menu in certain places and nothing was too much bother. Both food and wine were excellent and we will definitely be back soon. Thank you for a wonderful evening
Pizza and Pasta – Thornton-CleveleysWe have used the Red Fort many times and enjoyed eating in and the take away service. Ahad and the staff are very friendly. Good value, highly recommended.
Red Fort – LythamQuite simply the best Indian cuisine and eating experience i have had in the last 10 years. Highly recommended.
Red Fort – LythamEach time I visit, I am always reminded why I consider the Red Fort my favourite Indian restaurant of all time. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff both knowledgeable and friendly. Had a dish once and can only barely describe it? They'll identify it for you. As for the food, in the many times I've been I have never left without a satisfied feel on my lips. Whilst some may feel that the food can take a while to prepare, this is a sign of freshness and quality and truly worth the wait. Having only barely worked my way trying half their menu, you can be sure I'll be returning again and again, with the intention of starting all over again once I've tried everything.
Red Fort – LythamHaving used The Red Fort as my Indian Restaurant of choice for a while I can honestly say that this restaurant, whether dine in or take away, has some of the best dishes and best service that you can find on the Fylde coast. Regular specials and an extensive menu mean that there is something for every palette and if you fancy something that you don't see then the kitchen is happy to tailor the foods to your liking to make sure you are getting exactly what you like. Friendly waiters and modern decor tempt you into experimenting with dishes not found in many restaurants and often the kitchen will prepare a free taster meal meal for you to try with your meal to give you a taste of what you can have next time you visit!! When picking up take away there is often a complimentary drink for you, I have never been disappointed with my food or service at The Red Fort and would recommend it to anyone.
Red Fort – LythamWent again the other evening in April 2012. Great food. Each dish different and full of flavour. The chili ratings were accurate and there was plenty to eat. Will go again soon waistline permitting!
Red Fort – LythamWe stopped off in this restaurant for the first time about 4 years ago when my family and I came down to Blackpool for a long weekend from Edinburgh, and we thought the food was exceptional! Easily the best Indian food we've ever had. We specifically hunted down the restaurant when we returned last week because we were so fond of the food, the ambiance, and the first class service we received. We had 4 different dishes, and every single one of them was enjoyed; they even offered us a free sample dish along with our meals as a token of good faith, which we thought was very nice of them! All in all, we loved our time there and if we are down in Blackpool again we will definitely stop into the Red Fort again!
