Buraq – KirkhamThe curry club night is really good value, portion sizes huge, staff very polite and helpful. Also you can’t go wrong with the beer and the burger deal, always leave as a very happy and full customer.
Trawl Boat Inn – St. Annes-On-SeaWe were very well looked after at Jacks on Saturday even though there were 10 of us. The food was good and very reasonably priced.
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaFantastic! My partner and I were in blackpool for the weekend so i had a look on here to get some idea where to eat. I'm glad i did as it rained all weekend this is the only place that made the weekend. I had the lamb cutlets in rosmary jus and my other half had the sea food medley. Both were presented beautifully and the taste was outstanding! AND you got plently!! It was a shame we were in a rush as the starters that they were bringing out to other people looked fantastic. The lamb was perfect and the rosemary jus set every flavour off with a bang, the veg that came with it was extremly fresh and you could taste the quality in it. the sea food medley was a little pricey BUT it was gorgous and you got a lot, squid, king prawn, scallops, sea bass.(well you get what you pay for) And we had profiteroles for dessert, i think they were hand made, what can i say they they were perfect with the caramel sauce they drizzeled over them. this place is a must!!! defo will be going back. best place ive eaten at this year! And not forgettin the staff, they were good hosts, attentive but not clostrophobic .
Pulcinella – Thornton-CleveleysSuperb meal not cheap but good value, extensive menu and specials board, like the choice of cask ales
The Eagle at Weeton – Kirkhamgreat after a drunken night on the town or when your staying in and fancy some tasty takeaway, everything from meaty kebabs-generous helpings to pizzas-the cheesy garlic bread is gorgeous. great staff, prompt delivery. they are generous on sauce so if you only like a bit ask for a pot.
Popeye Takeaway – Blackpooli am so proud to have my beers on the bar in such a beautiful restaurant i wish patric and julie all the best ,john hart brewery
Cartford Inn – Great EcclestonThe Steak & Ale pie is the best ever. The beers are amazing and the location is special
Cartford Inn – Great EcclestonGood value, excellent food in both range and quality, friendly & attentive staff. The place is a bit shabby, though.
Gurkha Hotel, Restaurant and Bar – BlackpoolCouldn't believe the value for money this place offers! Superb three course meals, all freshly made and not straight from the freezer. The owners are so friendly that instead of trying somewhere different the next night - we returned for more!
Truffles Restaurant – BlackpoolThe Ship has undergone a transformation from a small, gloomy, empty pub into a busy modern pub/restaurant with seating outside for warm days or smokers. We have had two meals there now and it is highly recommended
Ship at Elswick – Great EcclestonI really should learn the lesson, and stay out of Caffe Nero joints. I always end up waiting, and waiting, first to place my order, and then waiting, waiting, waiting for the damned coffee to arrive. At those prices, table service would help but I'm becoming seriously frustrated with operations like this that fritter away my time as if it were of no consequence.
Caffe Nero – LythamWe were expecting outstanding, but were disappointed. It was only good.
Whelans – LythamThe food is good in a hearty kind of way, but go here for the beer.
The Taps – LythamThis is now the only chippy in St Annes that we bother to patronise. Food quality is never disappointing, although the service isn't always as sharp as it could be. Nevertheless, it's friendly, and they readily accommodate special requests (e.g. a lighter coating of batter on the fish). The diner is licensed, although the choice of drinks is unexciting.
St Annes Fish Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaAvoid unless you enjoy the thrill of seeing the waiting staff navigate through a melée of unsupervised children. If they aren't bothering their parents, why should it bother you?
Salters Wharf Toby Carvery – St. Annes-On-SeaThe Mongolian Lamb is highly recommended.
Eighty Eight Chinese Restaurant – LythamA rather better experience than the "seaside" exterior would suggest. Food was good (we had breakfast) as was the service. Pricing reasonable, menu offers plenty of choice without being ridiculous.
