I took my boyfriend for a birthday meal last night. Cant recommend this place highly enough. The food is amazing and the place has a lovely ambience, very friendly and excellent service. The fillet steak was cooked to perfection and the dessert of vanilla ice cream, crushed amaretti biscuits and hot choc sauce was to die for.

Excellent experience. Good food with a complimentary dish all served by polite helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Unlike many local cafes, the Fairhaven Lakeside cafe offers great value for money, which is a huge plus in current times! The cake portions are generous - a real treat. Other pluses are good staff and a lovely view of the Lake & its wildlife. Well done. This place deserves an award!

Called in for a late lunch (had been recommended) and ended up having the set 2 meal (£38.50). It was brilliant, you can watch your food being cooked its great. We had Turkish beer which is bottled but really tasty. The staff are really attentive. We were stuffed after the dessert(which is included + coffee)Try the Baklava it's wonderful. To anyone who likes meat, and to eat with your fingers(if you want) visit here. Pleas give it a whirl I'm sure you'll love it. When you arrive there may be no one in, but don't let that stop you, get yourself in and have a good experience. We did!

As soon as you walk in the atmosphere takes over. My partner & I really liked it as it was very romantic. The food was brilliant, the staff attentive and they do go that extra mile(they did for us). We will definitely be going again.

JK's has a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The staff are very friendly. I go there most days. The food is fantastic and good value for money. The banoffee pie was to die for.

Spent weekend in St Annes and tried The Moghul on spec and were greatly impressed. Fantastic menu, not just your usual Madras, Rogan Josh, Vindaloo etc. I can heartily recommend the Jalalabadhi Chicken - superb. Plus you get a complimentary portion of any dish you fancy or let the waiter surprise you. Great idea. All staff were very friendly and whole meal was excellent. Also received a complimentary drink while sorting out bill.

Upon entering the restaurant you immediately receive a warm welcome from the staff. Whilst enjoying a drink you have plenty of time to peruse the extensive menu. If you need to ask about any of the ingredients in some of the dishes, Ahad and the team are more than happy to assist. The service at the table is excellent and the food at the Red Fort is second to none. Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys really good Indian food.

Great food, lovely helpful staff - definitely recommended! I went with 2 friends and we had the early bird menu - a lovely surprise because we thought we'd have 3 or 4 choices, but we could actually choose any dish from the main menu (though it was clearly explained that certain things would be slightly more). I would definitely eat here again - YUM!

Having had the good fortune to visit many Indian restaurants in the UK, I can honestly say that this is by far and away the best I have been to. I am now a regular visitor and often look to try a different dish from their extensive menu and have yet to find one to disappoint. The food is excellent, great taste and cooked well and the service is always superb.

The taste of the food was excellent and the whole experience was very easy and stress free. We had a whole chicken with the 2 halves of the chicken cooked differently. Considering it just seems to be chicken on the menu there is strangely a good choice Drinks were self service and never ending. The place is cool and seems to appeal to a whole range of people. We were in and out very quickly which was exactly how we wanted it.

Ate there last night (18th March), food was excellent (adana shish and chicken shish). I would have preferred flat bread to what was on offer but still good. Staff and service was excellent also. Only down side was house wine at £14.50 which turned out to be Echo Falls which you can buy cheaply in any supermarket.

We went here last night as I am going to Turkey to get married very soon, and unfortunately some members of my family are unable to attend so we decided to go here for a meal! I have been looking for some good Turkish food for a long time in Lancashire and only now have I found it! I am beyond impressed with Anatolia :) The staff were so friendly and welcoming and they entertained my Half Turkish daughter the whole time we were there! We had Lahmacun and Avci boregi to start, both were delicious and just like in Turkey, then we had Lamb Shanks and Moussaka for our main which was also absolutely heavenly, and of course Baklava for dessert which was divine. The food and atmosphere of this place really made me feel like I was in Turkey, you can imagine my disappointment when I stepped outside and realised I wasn't in Bodrum but in St Annes :) Shall be going again very soon to sample some of the other things on the menu! Would recommend to anyone :)

Not impressed. Meat was tasteless and the vegetable side dish that was between 4 of us would have only fed one person. Will not be dining there again.

Cheap and Cheerful. Very nice food and extremely pleasant staff! Came all the way from Manchester as was recommended!

Myself and my partner, went San Marco's last night (16.03.2011) we hadn't booked, and even though the restaurant was full they managed to shuffle some tables and get us seated in the time it took us to order a drink at the bar, the staff are lovely, professional and welcoming (especially Richard) the atmosphere is perfect, the right balance of enjoyable chatting and laughter yet still intimate, but the main reason to go San Marco's is the food, its amazing, we ate off the early bird menu last night for £9.95 you get 2 courses and a drink, main menu prices are still fantastic value for money. We will be returning in a few weeks for my birthday and my mouth is watering already.

we visited the evening of 15th March 2010, Just as the last visit it didn't disappoint. This place is lovely, a little gem. From walking in the staff, the setting, the food, it made my birthday evening very enjoyable.

Although we normally eat in St.Annes. One of our friends suggested San Marcos for a change. Want a cheap top quality meal go for it. It's now just under £10 for two courses (starter & main) and a drink. Evening was going wonderful apart from the cold draught with people having cigarette. but after waiting 20 to 30 minutes for a desert menu we deceided to pay & leave. Food, fantastic(except desert and coffee, never got the chance). House wine, not advisable. Service, well lets just say, don't be in a hurry.
