Kays Fish and Chips – Thornton-Cleveleysmy family travel over to knott end once a week to see my father , and always visit kays . since mick took over the food quality has been excellent . The fish is fresh ,and you cannot fault it .we always sit in the cafe side and are made very welcome. i cannot comment on any of the pies or puddings as the fish is to good to resist. keep up the good work mick , pity you didn't live in Preston as your fish and chips are cut above what we get over here.ps fresh hake again on Saturday.
Kays Knott End Chippy – Knott End-On-Seai love Suda Thai, by far the best takeaway in the area. They also deliver now which is even better. my favourite is Chicken with sweet basil and noodles.
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-Fyldereally good food, impeccable service, very clean and presentable, value for money is unrivalled for miles, very highly recommended.
The Raj – FreckletonA work party of 10 dared to enter this establishment. The food was passable but to say this is supposed to be a mixture of Chinese, Indian, Malaysian and Thai food there was very little of each. Then I dared to use the toilets, which were dirty and the extractor fans didn't look like they have ever been cleaned and the toilet brushes were no longer usable. A number of the party have been ill since eating at this so called 'restaurant' and we will not be looking to go back. I would not be recommending this restaurant to anybody and would say that this is the worst place I have EVER eaten in!!!!!! BE WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jade Delight Oriental Buffet Restaurant – BlackpoolFab Indian on the isle of man.....!!!!
Chillies – Isle of ManWe have been to La Dolce Vita for two occasions recently, both were fantastic! One for a family meal out with the kids few weeks ago,we all love the food and the outdoor alfresco garden. Another one was last week with my colleagues at work. It was a big party of 20 people. Everything was organized for us in advance. The table was ready when we arrived and each of us was greeted and served with drink right away. I would think we need to wait a long time for the food, but it was pretty quick for such large group. The food was fantastic! I have sauteed mushroom as starter and chicken breast with goat cheese as main. They were both very good portioned and tasty! In fact, I could not manage to finish my main course at all because its generous portion. After enquiry, we found out the owner is the head chef who actually has professional culinary background in Italy. No wonder the food tastes much better than some of the so called Italian restaurant in the Fylde. We would certainly be going back with family and friends again an again.
Pizza and Pasta – Thornton-CleveleysWent to the Moghul Premier while staying in Lytham on Friday and will definitely going back! The menu was extensive and dishes were tasty and different, unlike many of the meals in our local Indian restaurants, including those on the curry mile in Manchester. Service was also friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed it and looking forward to our next visit.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaBest Kebab shop on the Fylde coast, maybe even in the North West!! No dead runaways in the doner meat & chilli sauce is proper 'ot!
Cyprus TakeAway – Poulton-Le-Fyldewe went for the early bird at the Olive Tree. The food was very good and the staff pleasant. My only gripe was that I ordered a glass of wine and was served a large (250ml) one without being asked if I would like a standard glass. The wine cost £4.55 which is almost half the cost of my two course meal! I realise i could have returned it but was reluctant to make a fuss. I am saddened when good restaurants resort to this type of practice.
Olive Tree Brasserie – St. Annes-On-Seaits well nice n fast
Nile, The – KirkhamGreat monthly Evenings and high quality food. A real gem in the Fylde area. Gets very busy so get in early. Unfortunately only accepts cash and can be time consuming.
Salt of the Earth – Poulton-Le-FyldeBy Mrs E. Mann ( No Relation) Thank you for a wonderful Banquet last evening, and your staff where wonderful hard working and pleasant, Thank you once again and all your Staff, may you keep open for all the years to come. THANK YOU Mr Alan Craven
China Red – Poulton-Le-FyldeThe Redfort is more than just an Indian Restaurant - it is an experience. Having visited this venue for many years, I can honestly say that the food is amazing. The blend of spices, each dish representing a cultural experience - from the delicate infusion, right up to the Naga infused lamb dishes to titilate the palete, with just the right amount of heat, and then the delcate flavour of the Korma or tandoori dish for those of us who prefer something less dramatic. The staff are amazing as well, ever ready to suggest a dish to suit the diner, each member of staff having knowledge of each dish on the menu, to take you through the dining experience and leave you in no doubt at all as to where your taste buds rest. You will return again and again, if only to work through the amazing menu, each dish offering a different experience. Relax in the beautiful surroundings that this restaurant offers, so different to the usual "indian" experience. When they say it is the essence of contemporary Eastern Spice they really mean it - because it really is!
Red Fort – LythamHe popped by here unexpectedly - had the mixed starter for 2, was ample and very enjoyable. I had the beefburger - very meaty and the chips were fantastic. Hubby had the hotpot which he enjoyed lots of meat content. Service was good - we were checked on during our meal. Even though it was busy we didn't wait too long for our food. Will definitely be coming again!
The Venue – Thornton-CleveleysThis restaurant is always a pleasure to visit. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are brilliant & always helpful. One of my favourite places to dine out.
