Good value, excellent food in both range and quality, friendly & attentive staff. The place is a bit shabby, though.

Couldn't believe the value for money this place offers! Superb three course meals, all freshly made and not straight from the freezer. The owners are so friendly that instead of trying somewhere different the next night - we returned for more!

The Ship has undergone a transformation from a small, gloomy, empty pub into a busy modern pub/restaurant with seating outside for warm days or smokers. We have had two meals there now and it is highly recommended

A rather better experience than the "seaside" exterior would suggest. Food was good (we had breakfast) as was the service. Pricing reasonable, menu offers plenty of choice without being ridiculous.

I really should learn the lesson, and stay out of Caffe Nero joints. I always end up waiting, and waiting, first to place my order, and then waiting, waiting, waiting for the damned coffee to arrive. At those prices, table service would help but I'm becoming seriously frustrated with operations like this that fritter away my time as if it were of no consequence.

The food is good in a hearty kind of way, but go here for the beer.

This is now the only chippy in St Annes that we bother to patronise. Food quality is never disappointing, although the service isn't always as sharp as it could be. Nevertheless, it's friendly, and they readily accommodate special requests (e.g. a lighter coating of batter on the fish). The diner is licensed, although the choice of drinks is unexciting.

Avoid unless you enjoy the thrill of seeing the waiting staff navigate through a melée of unsupervised children. If they aren't bothering their parents, why should it bother you?

The Mongolian Lamb is highly recommended.

If you've been in a Caffe Nero anywhere in Britain, you'll already know - who would have thought we would willingly pay this much, and wait this long, for coffee? At least it's reliable, clean enough, and better than most of the alternatives.

Just stumbled across this site and thought I’d recommend the Chinese i have been religiously visiting for many years! The food is always top quality; I especially love the paramount special pork. Alan and sue always go out of their way to ensure everyone has a great time, cheers folks! - BEST IN BLACKPOOL BY FAR.

We have been customers since the restaurant opened and keep coming back even though we have moved away. The staff always remember your name and treat you like a friend. Food is really good too. Wouldn't dream of coming anywhere else for a family celebration.

Been waiting a long time to visit this bistro after many recommendations. Expected great food and got Superb food & nice ambience, also a great price for the set menu. Will certainly be going back and also recommending it to friends. Try it ! Some of the better restaurant food I've had in a long time.

Margheritas is a fantastic place to eat. the food is cooked to perfection and the staff are friendly. the chef is a genius....

We thought our other chinese was better but this is by far the beast chinese we have been to. The staff are great, the atmosphere is friendly and up beat and the food is just to die for. Don't think twice about going if you have not already.
