I've been meaning to try this restaurant for the past couple of years and boy was it worth it. Two options, weekend special 3 course for £25 or al a carte. First impressions- elegant, chic you name it. To be fair at first i was dressed smart casual but other diners were suited & booted and i felt under-dressed. The internal decor was modern/contempory/stylish. Firstly sat down with drinks and an apperitife. Being shown to our table, the full beauty of this stylish restaurant becomes apparent. Most of us will never get the chance to dine in the elegance of fine dining in the more exclusive restaurants. Twelve is as near as damn it. Starter was The Mackeral, as a smoker your taste buds generally lose an element of taste but they certainly shone through i really cannot find words to describe that dish that would characterise the essence of it...amazing. Main course was The Duck. Again a sublime peace of art on a plate. Presentation, immaculate along with service. Finally the desert, i personally don't like chocolate but i tried the chocolate fondant just because you see it regular on cooking programmes. This from my expectations from tv was everything you could demand from an excellent dish. Conclusion- Overall price was approx £100 including drinks which when i got the bill was cheaper than expected by about £50. So i have a favourite restaurant but this place has just taken its place. AAAA++++

I really enjoyed my meal here. Went with a party on Saturday night and was surprised at how pleasant the restaurant is inside. The food was very good, and although the service was a little uncomfortable, they were friendly and efficient enough. I will definitely go back here it is most certainly one of the better restaurants in Poulton.

Very slow in taking orders (we thought we were invisible for 15 minutes after taking a seat) and then when I finished ahead of my wife and daughter, one of many waiting staff hanging around looking around for something to do (how about taking orders?) tried to take my plate before I had swallowed my last mouthful. There is too much competition in Lytham to have to put up with such sloppy service, which is a pity because the food is good and the menu imaginative.

from the moment it opened we have spent birthdays and special days there ,the staff are always helpful ,with a warm smile and welcome,the food great and Christmas day eating there was one of the best Christmas days ever eating out and will be hopefully there again this year, Dr malcolm Journet (blackpool)

Just found this gem of a place. Fantastic, really enjoyed the Fish Chips,Peas. Great staff too. Will go back often

Fish and Chips - really yummy!! Tons of choice and the staff were great. I was so full after the meal but had just about enough space for my ice-cream sundae! Would go again!

I have only eaten here once as it's new to town, but I must say that I'm very impressed with the excellent food, choice, price and service. The cleanliness and sumptuous surroundings are second to none. No expense seems to have been spared. Well done to the owners in this respect. I will certainly be returning and will definitely recommend it to my friends and colleagues. Lee

We have been going to Buraqs for many years now.The food is always A1,the service is excellent and the atmosphere is great. Its our favourite Indian Restaurant ! 10/10

Brilliant Restaurant.! It is now a different place to when Roy had the building.The food is beautiful with many different curries on the menu that you will never have heard of.The staff are all really friendly and tend to your every need with a smile. we rate it 10/10

I visited San Marco's recently for my girlfriends b/day,i was really let down as my mates gave it the thumbs up. Nobody greeted us at the door as is expected & the table we were given was enormous & totally inappropriate for 2 people. You can hear everyone's conversation-no background music ! It took 15 mins for someone to take our order & the waiter didn't understand what was being said,i think he was a foreigner. By the way my girlfriend is Polish so no i'm not racist. We walked out & went elsewhere as i didn't want them to totally ruin my girls special day,i won't be going back.

Great food, good feel about the place. Can't wait for the nighttime menu.

Had a fantastic meal here after being told about it by a friend. /the menu was varied and the food cooked to perfection. The staff were very attentive and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely come back again and have booked for one of the theme nights.

I recently decided to try out the lytham kitchen again recently after hearing that they had been taken over by new owners, i was very surprised at the quality of the food i was served and how fast it was brought to me the lancashire hot pot was absolutely gorgeous and i will be recommending them to all my friends, everybody was really friendly and i was made to feel like i was special, not just another customer.

Found my way there on Sunday, boy was i happy to find it. To start i had the tomato soup with artisan mini loaves. The flavour and presentation of the soup was spot on. Although i feel the soup could of been a little bit thicker. Then for my main i went for the signature dish of oxtail pudding. The oxtail was tender the pastry divine. the mash was luxuriously buttery, the sauce i feel was of a gourmet packet variety, but still very good.

The quality of the food can only be described as second to none, fantastic value, such pleasant friendly surroundings, beautiful decor, and the service spot on! A perfect evening This was my first visit with my brother, I will be telling my friends and dining again, without a shadow of a doubt. Thank you so much for a lovely evening Angela

I would recommend Cyprus its out of this world they have the best kebabs even if you don't like kebabs normally try Cyprus kebabs as they are nothing like the other kebab shops and the mayonnaise is absolutely amazing try it you will never look back
