Again probably the best fish and chippy in the area if not the country. I always have the large hake and small chips, mushy peas, bread and butter and pot of tea. speedy service, great staff. big recommendation.

Seniors – BlackpoolHad a takeaway friday night and i would have to say that it was good. The sui mai were good, 6 of them instead of the usual 4 in other chineses. The salt and pepper ribs were also very good. Then the fillet steak with black pepper sauce. All in all a very good take away. Will definitely be going back.
Great Fortune House – Thornton-CleveleysThis may seem boringly similar to my last recommendation of December 2007 but, on 7th July 2008, whilst my daughter was over from New Zealand with two of our Grandsons, we met-up with our Son, daughter-in-law and our two other Grandsons at this lovely establishment. We have no affiliation with the licensees of the Ship and nothing to gain other than we know that we can go there and now expect everything including meals, service, hospitality and cleanliness to be superb. In that we had four fairly boisterous but polite grandchildren, (whom we made certain didn't infringe upon other diners) I have to add that the unusual summer's evening being warm and sunny was more than complemented by such a lovely well kept play area for the children to enjoy whilst the older ones had a quiet drink prior to dining. Whilst all of our party enjoyed their meals, I have to say that my meal of 'Fish un Chips' was just the same - Brill. Well no, it wasn't 'Brill' - it was simply beautifully 'battered' Haddock. That'll do me! I still, as before, have to further add that a very similar, enjoyable well prepared and efficiently served meal can be obtained in my own locality of North Lancashire at the Greyhound Hotel, Halton, Lancaster or the Ship Hotel at Caton.
Ship at Elswick – Great EcclestonHello to all, I can honestly say that this restaurant cannot be beaten for flavour of its fish, It can only be because of the waters that these fish come from and that's Scotland, well known for the best fish and true flavours. I cannot understand why the fish in other restaurants normally tastes in my opinion quite bland without flavour at all, and rely on a good batter to give it that bit of flavour. So get yourself along to the Pisces and order the special priced at £4.99. including tea bread.and.butter. and peas, can't be bad. You won't regret it and certainly will be back for more.
Pisces Fish and Chips – FleetwoodThis is my favourite Italian restaurant in Blackpool, the food is always great, staff are always friendly and great value for money... 1 tip is to book as it can get very busy due to popularity!
La Fontana – BlackpoolWent there last Friday when we were over to see the lights after searching on google for Chinese buffets. Bit away from the front but really glad we made the effort. Food was gorgeous and light unlike the deep fried stodge you get at a lot of buffet restaurants. Have recommended it to loads of people and will definitely visit again. Oh and the beer was good and cheap too.
Gurkha Hotel, Restaurant and Bar – BlackpoolMy husband and I had dinner at The Trafalgar on Friday 12th of December. The food was excellent and the staff friendly. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
Trafalgar Restaurant – FleetwoodOur taxi driver recommended this Restaurant to us. After our last visit to an Italian in Blackpool (which was a disaster) we were a bit apprehensive. We were pleasantly surprised by the themed interior. The place was extremely busy and we were told there would be a half hour wait. We decided to stay and we were glad we did. The food was excellent and well presented and the waiters really looked after us.
La Fontana – BlackpoolContinues to be excellent if not in a fashionable location. Very tasty and good portions. Best in Blackpool ... but don't tell anyone!
Bombay Restaurant – BlackpoolWe would go every week if i lived in Blackpool, we love it, mmm yum!
Wah Wahs – BlackpoolIt's the little touches that make the difference, linen tablecloths and napkins, carafe of iced water on the table without being asked, good quality substantial cutlery, complimentary drink while the bill was being prepared, a whisky for me, Baileys for my wife and to top all that I had forgotten just how good Indian cuisine can be having become used to take aways swimming in gee. This place is first class and I will be back.
Buraq – KirkhamThis is the best restaurant in Lytham Quiet, well served with a tranquil interior this restaurant serves beautiful pasta and meat dishes. the house red is excellent Not particularly cheap but worth it
Novello – Lytham4 of us went to the buraq on sat 5th sept 08, the bill came to 102 pounds, one person had to send their starter back twice because it was frozen, They VERY GENEROUSLY KNOCKED THE ONE STARTER OFF THE BILL ! SINCE SUN 6TH OF SEPT WE HAVE ALL BEEN ILL with sickness and the runs. Needless to say we will not be going back and will certainly not recommend it. I think they probably need a visit from environmental health!!!!!!
Buraq – Kirkhami have visited Springfield house many times IE Xmas eve new years day lunch and many family parties.I have also recommended the hotel too many friends and relations.they always report back to me saying what great night out they had with fabulous food and drink served with a smile by a friendly helpful team with one aim.to make you feel special every time you visit. Springfield House the best restaurant and hotel in lancashire
Springfield House Hotel – Knott End-On-SeaI have dined at this restaurant several times with my friends in the last year or two and have always found the food and service to be of a high standard. The prices are reasonable. Can recommend.
Ashiana Tandoori Restaurant – KirkhamThis delicatessen is a breath of fresh air to local foodies, starved of quality food. Making the best of local produce in all their dishes! They sell lots of great foodie gifts including a really well selected choice of wines and have a fully stocked deli counter with loads of local meats and cheeses as well as a great selection of continental produce. I love their sandwiches on fresh bread and their croissants in the morning!
Salt of the Earth – Poulton-Le-FyldeBest Wonton Soup I've ever had! I could eat bucketfuls of the stuff! The lunch menu between 12pm-2pm is fantastic value at 5.60 for 2 course, or 6.60 for 3 courses. The beef in blackbean sauce is highly recommended
Michael Wan’s Mandarin – BlackpoolI recently visited China Red just me and my boyfriend, the staff were friendly and attentive, the food was delicious. It had a great atmosphere and I will definitely go there again.
