Good service, and the food was excellent

This is undoubtedly the best Italian Restaurant in the area - no others could begin to compare with it. We have visited on numerous occasions, as a couple and with Friends and Family, and have never ceased to be impressed by the sheer quality, inventiveness and delight of the food. A veritable culinary experience. I cannot praise it too highly. Added to this, it has a warm and friendly atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble for the owners.

This is an excellent restaurant. Always a friendly welcome and the food is at a very high standard. My husband and I visit every few weeks and always enjoy the whole experience. Thank you.

We regularly eat at Lorenzo's - at least once a month and can say we have never had a bad meal and have always received excellent service. Best Italian restaurant we have ever visited. GREAT

Having been situated in Lytham for many years, the Mews is a hidden gem in Lytham. It does not have the same feel as Zest, but does have wonderful food including home made cakes. There is also a small roof terrace if the weather lets you enjoy it! Keep an eye out for the mice! There are a few hidden mice in the cafe, but don't worry, they are not real! They simply add a bit of fun to the cafe.

The food was excellent, and in plentiful supply. A full plate of what you want, and you can help yourself to the potatoes and veg! Desserts are also very good. Try Mad about Passion for a light dessert, or the Waffle if you have a bit more room spare!

You have to try the Shredded Chilli Chicken. its amazing. Also the King Prawn Curry! Fab!!!

Whilst visiting Blackpool I ate in quite a few fast food restaurants and this one was by far the best. Nice people and excellent food..

Seven of us went to Jack's for my friend's birthday. The food and the ambience was great and we all agreed that we had a lovely and relaxing time there. Although we had to wait a while to order drinks and food but we didn't mind, because the waitress was very friendly and explained that they didn't expect a busy night. In terms of cost, for the quality of food we've had, it was good value for money.

Visited on a Saturday evening (a busy time, during the Illuminations) the welcome was friendly and the fish and chips were the BEST I have ever had. They were freshly made, delicious to eat and were very appetising. There was not a sign of sogginess anywhere on the fish, like you get at other chippies. Taylors obviously have a very good recipe, which they keep to themselves. This chippy is a MUST HAVE on any trip to Blackpool. Will be visiting you again. Thanks for a GREAT chippy meal.

The other day, I got the best burger I have ever had in my life from here. The portion sizes were big and the price was low. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend paying this place a visit if you are in Fleetwood, it might be a few minutes walk from the town centre but it is worth it every time,

Visited Whelan? for the first time, after hearing recommendations from Fred Fielder on the GMR radio. I have to agree with Gordon Ramsay and Rick Stein this is, ' absolutely excellent fish and chips'. MY only criticism was we had to wait a long time for a table, but it was well worth it!

I have eaten at some fabulous Chinese restaurants, but nothing beats Ocean Palace. The food is absolutely stunning, especially alongside a chilled glass of chardonnay!

Had a good lunch in the cube however my only gripe is the price and how very similar the menu is to another venue in Poulton. My question is who copied whom. Anyway apart from that it was an ok meal nicely presented. Certainly had worse lets put it that way. Ok for a sandwich if your on the move and in a rush

I ate here on Sunday evening after working in the cold it was really nice food and very reasonable in price, I enjoy eating here, as the food is always hot and fresh. Fully recommend this place every time.

Humble location, yet Wonderfully subtle and decorative food for the discerning palette. Generous starters (try the beef fajitas with their own sweeter than sweet salsa - this really is to die for!) and fully fledged main courses which are attractively presented with some mouth watering combinations (garlic chicken on a bed of Mediterranean veg with sugar roast potatoes!-how good?) It has to be said, Kwizeen is a real treasure and a rare credit to the Blackpool dining scene with it's menus that boast only the best in locally grown fresh ingredients. There really is nowhere else of this calibre in town - so in this case, you can believe the hype. Shame about the name though - A real mismatch considering the high quality of food and decor on offer here! Perhaps this some sort of whimsical ploy to get the stag and hens in!

Nice and Clean. service was top notch, and the food was hot and, more importantly, FRESH! It' hadn't been stood around for three or four hours drying out! Chips where substantial and chunky, but not dry or heavy. Crisp and moist. Fish lovely and fleshly, crisp light batter. Truly a monster fish too! Highly recommended. Like others, I had a long trip to get there (106 miles there and back) but worth every single penny.
