There are many thing to like about Pipers, pleasant staff, lovely old beamed building, delicious food.it’S just a shame that despite being one of the first to sit for lunch it was nearly an hour on before our food arrived. We were warned that a pie would take 15 min but it was nearer 40 min.

Pipers – GarstangYet another great meal. We have been several times to Pipers and we have never been disappointed. The only "hitch" on on our recent visit was that a friend orderd a medium steak which turned out to be more well done. What a shame. That aside, thoroughly recommend the place.

Pipers – GarstangSadly after such a long wait due to lockdown, our visit to Pipers was very disappointing, and not at all up to the usual standard. The menu was very limited, my starter was billed as ‘Moroccan mushrooms ‘with cheese. I counted approximately 3 small mushrooms drowning in sea of chickpeas! The sea-bass main was over cooked and tasteless, not even the potato and tomato sauce could rescue the flavour! My husband s duck breast was tough and the sauce also lacked any taste. This was such a shock as the food has previously been excellent, full of flavour. I was beginning to think that it was a different chef. Not impressed ,as it is not a cheap restaurant. The best thing we had on the night were the drinks.

Pipers – GarstangAmazing food and probably the best steak I’ve ever eaten. Mega friendly staff who couldn’t do too much for you. Camden lager on draught and the onion rings were amazing. Will definitely be returning when in the area next time. Kids portions very good (£7 for main, dessert and drink).
