Lovely restaurant in The Chester House Hotel, food was really good, service was excellent. Eaten there a couple of times previously and is always good. Will definitely return when in the Cotswolds next.

We had a fabulous meal of fish and chips. Best we’ve ever had. The sticky toffee pudding was also excellent. Very light and not at all sickly. The service was a bit slow but it was very busy.

A personal favourite for me & my husband. The food is always excellent, the service and atmosphere relaxed, friendly, cosy and feels so homely. We love it here!

Lovely food but let down at the beginning as shown to our table 2.45 & no - one took a drink order. I eventually got the attention of someone to ask for drinks 11 minutes later & waited a long time for drinks to arrive. I'm glad we ordered food at the same time as it all took a long time to arrive nearly 25 minutes but was really lovely. I asked for dessert, waited another 10 minutes for order to be taken & time for it to arrive, only 3 scoops of ice-cream then again for the bill. It didn't feel very relaxing as we were chasing the staff for service & felt our time was running out fast on the 1 hour & 45 mins for table. We did notice others having the same problems on 2s & 4s on a table but big new bookings after us 8 plus were served immediately with order for drinks & food. It spoilt our day a real shame.

We have been several times to Caffe e Vino and always had a positive experience so decided to bring my brother who was visiting from Ireland. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The atmosphere too is cozy and inviting. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Italian meal.

Table of 9 for a 50th birthday lunch. Attentive, friendly service, authentic lovely food, great atmosphere well worth a visit. We'll be back :)

The food was authentic and delivered quickly. It was very enjoyable however our first greeting at reception was not great as we were told that we may have to move our cars as parking was only for residents despite their being some unoccupied rooms so we could have had their spaces.

Fabulous evening with great friends & amazing food & service. The staff rearranged tables to enable us to have a quiet area to support two members of our group. We all enjoyed ourselves & look forward to doing this again in the New Year. Thank you.

Dined here on a Sunday evening, although we have stayed and eaten here on a number of times on our trips to the Cotswolds. As usual, we found the food and service excellent, with very friendly staff and we couldn't ask for more. Definitely recommend.

Yesterday was our first ever visit for Sunday and to say we were satisfied is an understatement. The food was absolutely delicious and completely outstanding. It was so fresh and well cooked from fabulous roast potatoes and amazing roast meats to lovely fresh vegetables and superb gravy. Very happy table of 6. All the staff were great, really helpful, attentive and polite. Loved the atmosphere and general look of the Miners country inn. We’ll definitely be back.

We used to eat here alot pre convid and also during covid for take aways, though we would try again, wasnt welocmed immediatly so thats was intially disappoint, resturan semmed bleak and lacked atmosphere, table wasnt overly clean, no one came over to take a drinks order so we headed to the bar, drinks service was quick, gain it took a while for someone to come over and take our food order and they seemed nice enough perhaps inexperienced... cant fault the food it was the tasiest sunday dinner we had in a while and plentyiful, table took a while to clear and we had to go and pay the bill at the bar, perhaps they should have a more experienced attentive member of staff helping the young ones!

Superb Sunday lunch never disappoints our friends who were staying with us always make sure their visit includes a Sunday so we can all come to the Miners for lunch. This has been the third such occasion now!
