Dined here on a Sunday evening, although we have stayed and eaten here on a number of times on our trips to the Cotswolds. As usual, we found the food and service excellent, with very friendly staff and we couldn't ask for more. Definitely recommend.

Yesterday was our first ever visit for Sunday and to say we were satisfied is an understatement. The food was absolutely delicious and completely outstanding. It was so fresh and well cooked from fabulous roast potatoes and amazing roast meats to lovely fresh vegetables and superb gravy. Very happy table of 6. All the staff were great, really helpful, attentive and polite. Loved the atmosphere and general look of the Miners country inn. We’ll definitely be back.

We used to eat here alot pre convid and also during covid for take aways, though we would try again, wasnt welocmed immediatly so thats was intially disappoint, resturan semmed bleak and lacked atmosphere, table wasnt overly clean, no one came over to take a drinks order so we headed to the bar, drinks service was quick, gain it took a while for someone to come over and take our food order and they seemed nice enough perhaps inexperienced... cant fault the food it was the tasiest sunday dinner we had in a while and plentyiful, table took a while to clear and we had to go and pay the bill at the bar, perhaps they should have a more experienced attentive member of staff helping the young ones!

Superb Sunday lunch never disappoints our friends who were staying with us always make sure their visit includes a Sunday so we can all come to the Miners for lunch. This has been the third such occasion now!

Went for birthday lunch with a baby and 5 year old plus adults.. Had an area to ourselves and had a lovely time. We felt very welcome, food is always good. Our go to in Tewkesbury. Thankyou.

Lovely lunch with friends. Service and ambience good, tables quite closely set but not a big problem. Food very nice and well priced. Sea food linguine was especially good. We thought it was reasonably priced in a time when often eating out seems expensive.

We stayed at the hotel. The waitress ordered the wrong food for me and then was very unprofessional and rude about it and tried to blame me for ordering wrong even though she read back the order to me. By the time my meal came my daughter had finished her meal and we never did get more cutlery as asked for. The whole experience really ruined the evening which is a shame as the food was nice when the correct meal finally arrived!

Six of us enjoyed a lovely meal last Tuesday. Service was friendly and good, food hot and delicious. We will definitely be back.

This was our second visit to Caffe E Vino in a week and remains, one of our favourite eateries. A real taste of our favourite country and the usual excellent food and drink. I even get to josh Davide regarding his beloved Milan football club. Nigel and Carole

Super sharing platter, generous portions for 2 people accompanied by warm bread and Netherend butter . Super service and excellent value for money . Highly recommended

Special menu is always a delight to choose from, and was excellent again with such variety. The millefeuille dessert was absolute heaven …. topping off an all-round magnificent feast for all six of us. Number one choice of restaurant in Tewkesbury for genuine atmosphere, service, food and value.

We were a group of 4 and all agreed that it was excellent. Great menu choice for food and drinks. The food was fresh and tasty and authentic Italian. The waitress/staff were polite, helpful and attentive. Apologies from us for delaying closing up, you made us too comfortable. Thank you

A group of ex SHS pupils who left school in 1972 have met up three times over the last 18 months at Beacon Bar and Cafe. Yesterday 15 of us met up and enjoyed a variety of well prepared lunches from the menu having pre-ordered and paid 2 weeks ago. The venue is excellent for a sociable event, food and service could not be faulted and our lunches arrived precisely at the agreed time. We look forward to returning next year!

We stayed at the Chester House Hotel and dined at their restaurant which was a return for us as we loved the meal before. We chose the specials which was lamb with dauphanaise potatoes & veg and sea bass with hassleback potatoes and roasted beetroot, both were absolutely delicious. We would definately return for another meal when visiting the cotswolds again.

Great value for pot luck Monday . Good food.....nicely prepared and exceptional value. Good service. Best to get a table near the front of the restaurant as sometimes the waitresses get waylaid before getting to deal with the back.
