Very enjoyable lunch
The Codrington Arms – Chipping SodburyWe came down for our anniversary weekend and had lunch at The Croft Restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our drinks and starter came quickly and were delicious. I had the sea bass for my main it was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious my husband had ham egg and chips and we was very pleased with it. If we come down to the area again we would definitely come back to the Croft restaurant.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamThe Miners has been a favourite of ours for years. Our dishes have always been delicious, freshly prepared, with lovely attention to detail on each dish. Service is always good. It’s a welcoming and unpretentious dining room, with a warm eclectic farmhouse feel to the dining area. We enjoy eating there as a couple and proud of our local restaurant when taking guests with us.
Wye Valley Catering – ColefordLovely location! Great value lunch offer. The girl that served us was really lovely and helpful, Food was very tasty. Would highly recommend a visit.
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterVisited this week for a birthday meal. My son and I had coke which tasted very watery, would stick to bottled coke next time. My husband ordered G&T but got soda instead of tonic. Food was lovely. My only criticism is that they need to get some sharper knives. It was hard work cutting the pizzas with the knives we had. Lovely atmosphere although the tables are quite close together.
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterWe had a wonderful evening at Trattoria Settebello. There was a fun and lively atmosphere, the food was excellent with a very generous menu and the waiting staff polite and friendly. I would highly recommend a visit whether for a casual supper, drinks with friends or celebratory evening out.
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterFood gorgeous, drinks overpriced bought same at brewery for £3-60 less, understandable need to make profit but come on,and beer was warm.Best onion rings on planet, service good, wine lovely, just bit miffed at beer price, overall would recommend, food stunning!
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamFood quality was amazing. Ordered the crab linguine, but they had already sold out and settled for the Ox cheek rigatoni and so glad I did. It was great to be served by pretty much any member of staff in the restaurant, not being left waiting for a specific member of staff whose area we were sitting in. The only thing that let the evening down was the delay in receiving our appetizer and the waiter forgot our request for table water which we had to ask for again. Flawless other than that. For the quality of the food, welcoming, busy atmosphere without feeling rushed and quality of the service the price was very reasonable. Menu had a great selection and the option for vegan/GF for their pizzas is a nice touch that still isn't that common and should be praised.
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterHad a great meal for my husbands birthday. Food was delicious! It was a Monday night and very busy. Staff were struggling to keep up. I had a Diet Coke which tasted of syrup and just water. I couldn’t flag down any waiting staff to get it changed . I then ordered a mock tail which took 15 minutes to come . Such a shame . I’d go again but maybe in the day time when it’s quiet.
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterExcellent, as always. Highly recommended
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamLovely relaxed lunch with my daughter. Delicious food and good service eaten outside in the sun with a great view of the docks.
Trattoria Settebello – Gloucesterthe food was amazing! but the staff last night were poor.. we were waiting 40 minutes for our food and had to get the staffs attention to order anything, don’t feel as if they cared either which was annoying, also we were sat in a corner and i was basically touching seats with the woman behind.. seating was bad and way too close as nearly got budged on the head when other tables were getting their food.. food was amazing but we shouldn’t have to get their attention to order drinks or food, very poor service and kind of ruined our date.. but besides that the FOOD was amazing but nothing else, also waited to pay for a while and had to get their attention again instead of coming up to us when they knew we were ready and when we complained about how long food took it came out straight away like it had been sitting there..
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterWe contacted directly for a complex group booking. The whole experience was impeccable. Treated us so well. Excellent service and the food was absolutely sublime. Bravo.
Wye Valley Catering – ColefordI visited settabellos on Sunday evening with some work friends and the service was great, the food was also great and all round just a very nice, warm atmosphere. It wasn’t my first time going and it won’t be my last! I definitely recommend taking a trip :)
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterFantastic restaurant and really friendly and attentive staff make you feel very comfortable at the restaurant, food is amazing
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterAbsolutely delicious food, great atmosphere and warm and friendly staff. Can’t fault it. I’ve been twice now and each visit was fab!
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterFantastic atmosphere and really friendly and attentive staff make you feel very comfortable at the restaurant One thing I must say is the chairs do feel a bit not comfortable and very school like but the booths and the leather chairs are lovely The food was amazing can’t fault it working with pizza my self I’m very envious of the pizza oven 10/10 keep up the good work!!
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterI booked a table for myself and my husband for a Friday night to celebrate our marriage. The menu looked nice and we thought we’d give it a go. We were seated, and then forgotten about. There were 4 staff members on, all who seemed more interested in chatting with each other and being on their phones than serving customers. They were even cleaning empty tables over serving us! We were finally served when I asked one of the boys to take our order (it took another 5 mins after I asked him as he was busy clearing empty tables). After our order was taken food and drink came out quickly, and service got slightly better. The food was lovely. I think having a restaurant run by teenagers is a bad business idea as they were clearly inexperienced with hospitality. They were all very polite, just not very good. As it currently stands, I unfortunately wouldn’t go back.
