Went for a roast dinner for 2 on the 14th The roast potatoes weren’t the best they were not cooked completely through enough for the size of them, almost tasted store brought not fluffy and crunchy as was hoping for. The cauliflower cheese was, in our opinion, watery as if it’s come out the freezer or they’ve not drained the cauliflower enough when cooked. Unfortunately, the staff were a bit all over the place no waitress seemed to know if our food was ordered or if we had eaten, but they were all lovely and polite. I’ve eaten a few times here in the past but first time for a Sunday roast so was just a bit disappointed.

Alice provides exceptional food and excellent service as always. Great atmosphere and a welcoming host, hard to beat.

We really enjoyed our meal which exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was great value for money, our only negative was the chocolate brownie was over cooked very crispy on outside and dry in the middle.

Not a huge Menu, but with enough variety and choice , ( much better than having too much to choose from.) Lovely Steak meal.

This is our favourite restaurant and our go-to for any celebrations! It is like walking into the home of a friend, warm and welcoming with the added bonus of excellent authentic Italian food. Cannot recommend highly enough and if you are lucky to be able to sit in the beautiful courtyard area it’s magical.

Plenty of parking. Always have a lovely roast dinner at the codrington. I had plenty of beef, crispy roasters and perfectly cooked vegetables. Staff are always pleasant.

Thanks for the extraordinary professional service - all the staff were very attentive. You can feel that customers are like their family that they just want to be helpful from their heart. Even they were busy , they always checked if you were alright. Food is great - you can’t go wrong with Italian food. Price is ok especially when you are aware that you are in tourist spot.

We count ourselves as ‘regulars’ now - or rather we eat there as often as we can if the opportunity arises. Can’t quite see the point of eating anywhere else if we are in the vicinity - which we were yesterday. Needed a ‘quick bite’ a ‘light lunch’ but, of course, we ended up sitting over the most delicious salads and pastas and coffees and staying far longer than we meant to! Thanks Davide and Mariella and the team. Eating with you is a total treat.

Lovely lunch (once again) at this great place. Food excellent, very good value for money, and staff very welcoming and attentive. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Tewksbury, as the experience is unbeatable in my opinion. Thank you for your hospitality, we will see you again soon hopefully!

Fantastic food and service....I thoroughly enjoyed my meal....I had lasagna. A nice portion and tasted great. Lovely staff and great service too.

What a great restaurant. Nice friendly staff and a welcoming family atmosphere. We only come to Tewkesbury once a year for a rally but book a table in advance as it's very popular, but of coarse we come for the food. A great menu and well cooked well presented in a friendly atmosphere, good value all round.

We book this Italian each time we go to Bourton and are never disappointed. The 4 of us sat outside as the gardens are nice and had a great meal with friendly service. Great garlic bread, lasagne, pizza and carbonara. All in for tiramisu!
