Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamPreviously we have visited for Sunday lunch which is superb. This time we called for a mid week lunch. This was even better. We will return again…and again
The Miners – ColefordAll I’m going to say is that it’s the best Sunday lunch I’ve ever eaten in a pub and served by the most pleasant and attentive staff. We will return!
The Miners – ColefordThis is the second time we have been to The Miners at Sling with our family who we were visiting in The Forest of Dean. The Staff are very Attentive and Nice and very Quick Service and The Roast Lunch is always Varied and Very Delicious too. Thank you, we will be visiting again.
The Miners – ColefordBest Sunday roast in the Cotswolds, it’s great value, great quality and plentiful, we’ve had it 3 times and it’s consistently brilliant. Love this pub, really friendly, great food.
The Bear Inn – StroudAmazing evening as always The attention to detail by the staff is second to none, always so friendly and warm and the food is absolutely superb
Caffe e Vino – TewkesburyStaff were pleasant and helpful even though they were extremely busy. My wife and myself both enjoyed the food very much, very authentic Italian flavours. The atmosphere was great too, so top marks.
Chester House Hotel – CheltenhamDelicious food, great service and warm atmosphere. Super meal.
Caffe e Vino – TewkesburyFood was perfect.
Caffe e Vino – TewkesburyStarters were very nice ( Risotto and chicken wings). Mains were indifferent , burger was dry and hunter chicken was ok. Limited menu so nothing else on their l would want to eat. Service was good, atmosphere ok- we were tucked at the entrance because we had a dog - but pleased we could take her with us. Have heard Sunday lunch is good, but would not return for an evening meal
The Miners – ColefordThis is a very authentic Italian restaurant where the ambience is lovely, the service is excellent and the food is superb. This is a Ten out of Ten place to go and enjoy your evening. Thank you David Trevor
Caffe e Vino – TewkesburyTook our visiting family to our favourite Italian restaurant Caffe e Vino in nearby Tewkesbury . It’s worth the trip.It was as expected a real success. The whole meal was a total taste of Italy. An original menu totally prepared and cook in their kitchen I had a special-of-the-day the Tortelloni, filled with crab and prawn served with flaked white fish in a delicious sauce and green salad leaves. It was followed by their homemade Torta Nonna. We shared a bottle of very reasonably priced but delicious Rossi Montepulciano. Davide and crew were as hospitable and welcoming as ever. It was all delightful.
Caffe e Vino – TewkesburyA very short notice reservation made for a Friday night for 4, with dietary requirements. The service was wonderful, plenty of information about what was in the food and what could/couldn't be eaten dependent on allergies. The Steak was so good, such good quality food, thick, chunky chips also cooked just right ..it's rare my eldest ever eats a whole meal when we go out, but she didn't want to waste a mouthful of her boar burger. It was a little bit loud, but it was a busy evening...and everyone seemed to have massive smiles while eating their food. We will definitely be booking again, next time we are near.
The Miners – ColefordAbsolutely brilliant and great value. We ate from the Winter lunch menu and our only disappointment was that the food was so good and plentiful that we had no room for pudding! The Cheese Souffle was rich and cheesy and meltingly good, and my husband absolutely loved the Mushroom Pappadelle. This was a return visit and we will be back again. Service was prompt, efficient and very friendly and the pub itself is a small, classic and very old Cotswold country pub. Cannot recommend this highly enough.
The Bear Inn – StroudAnother fantastic lunch yesterday, always good food and a warm welcome .
Caffe e Vino – TewkesburyReally impressed by the whole experience. Food was outstanding - and I don't often write reviews - my sons food allergy (which I noted in my booking) was discussed on arrival and very well catered for. Service was prompt. And the poor lady running the show was trying to wrangle her children (Easter holidays) and keep a restaurant full of customers happy - managing to do so smoothly and still with a smile on her face!!!
The Miners – ColefordCaffé E Vino has been my favourite restaurant since it was recommenced to me about four years ago. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food prepared with the freshest of ingredients and absolutely delicious, look no further. Davide and the rest of the team are always welcoming and provide excellent customer service. As for their dessert menu..,,IRRESISTIBLE!!
