I took my friend there for her birthday. She requested to go there as the previous visit with her was so good. We were not disappointed. Everything was as good as it could be. We’ll certain go again. It felt like we were on holiday in Italy.

We booked to have lunch in the courtyard, a space we never seemed to manage to access because of not booking ahead, wrong time of year etc. It's a beautiful hidden gem at the other end of the property. Caffe e Vino – TewkesburyWe visited the L' Anatra for an evening meal during the heatwave. We were welcomed with a smile and offered a table outside which was lovely. I was a little irked initially when the waitress's and waiters seemed to not notice we were there and served a table just feet away that had only just sat down ! After a little wait, we were attended to and from there on in, all was fine with friendly and helpful service. The food was brought in good time and was well presented. It was of a good standard and sensibly priced. Next time I visit Bourton, I would definitely eat there again.

We recently came for lunch which we thoroughly enjoyed and we plan to come to sample the evening menu too.

We chose to sit outside in their gorgeous garden, which made for a perfect atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff—they were extremely accommodating and even happily prepared a dish for me that wasn't on the menu. We have eaten here on several occasions and o will definitely be back
