Fantastic food, great value for money, quick service and friendly staff

We enjoyed a lovely lunch yesterday, 3 friends together. Relaxed atmosphere, delicious food and warm welcoming staff . Will certainly be back ! Excellent!

An excellent meal in all respects. Friendly staff. Very tasty food. Prompt service, but not rushed. Plenty of choice and very good value. It was for my 79th birthday and it proved to be a very good choice of venue, Thank you.

Highly recommended! Lovely restaurant, clean, modern with fantastic staff who run the place like clockwork. Good menu, best Calazone ever and gluten free options for pasta and pizzas.

My husband and I came Saturday evening with our dog, which was great and we had a lovely big table by the window, the restaurant itself was very nice. We were disappointed with the food though. My husband had escalopes to start and he had 2 very small ones and was overpriced for what they were. I had king prawns which were quite tough. Our mains, muscles for me which were tasty but not hot, my husband had a pizza which was very wet and sloppy. Our server was lovely but we have had better meals for the same value, we left feeling disappointed and we paid £100 for it. Not good value for money

Not my first meal here - and definitely not the last. The food is excellent, as are the recommended accompanying wines. The service is relaxed and very friendly. If you are in Tewkesbury feed your soul at the abbey and your body at Caffe è Vino.

I can’t get enough of this wonderful restaurant . It has such ambience and the food is freshly made with daily specials on the premises . Delightful .

Always a lovely roast dinner here. I had beef and there were three nice slices. Vegetables were cooked exactly right, carrot. parsnip, greens and carrot mash. Always piping hot. Served quickly by nice polite staff. Have been going here for some time and will continue to do so

I visit the Gupshill regularly on Sundays for lunch with family members. Invariably, the food is good, both in terms of quality, portion sizes and value for money with attentive and friendly service. Very happy to recommend it to others.

We booked The Codrington Arms because it was a midway point between Gloucester and South Bristol to meet up with our son and family. what a lovely discovery! we were greeted by a charming young lady and shown to our table where we ordered what turned out to be a very lovely meal. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the restaurant area was not too noisy so we were able to enjoy the meal and chat. Would highly recommend the home made pie but we all ate different meals and all enjoyed them.
