Best restaurant in Tewkesbury. Wonderful food and staff, my favourite place to eat.

Once again I search for superlatives. This is a small, unassuming but totally authentic Italian restaurant with delightful management (Davide and his team - thank you!) and imaginative menu (Thank you chef!). We are an hour away so can't visit as often as we would like.....every day if I lived in Tewkesbury! We were there for a quiet lunch to celebrate 47 years of the married state! Just perfect. Thank you team Caffe e Vino. See you again soon.

We took two friends with us on this occasion, who hadn't been to the Miners for 20 years. One comment was, There's a chef with knowledge! The food was delicious, the service excellent, the atmosphere convivial, which is why we return time and time again. Thank you for yet another delightful evening.

Pot Luck is such a great idea but the food is equally extremely good. Will definitely return when passing next

I go to Caffe e Vino most weeks. On this occasion I had a rare three-courses. Starting with the buffata fumicata, which was both perfectly presented and so very tasty, especially the tomatoes in balsamic. Main course was from the special list - tagliatelle with mushrooms and pancetta, also very good. Dessert wasn’t really needed as I was already full but went with the torta della nonna with sorbetto. Finished the lunchtime meal with an espressino. Always more than happy with the food and service here, and I can’t wait for the garden to open for the summer season.

We were a group of 3 ladies, celebrating a birthday. What an amazing meal genuine well cooked Italian food served by friendly Italian staff. We had a main, dessert, wine and coffee and all were a joy to eat. The food is well priced and top quality. Don't be put off by the cafe appearance from the outside, it's also a super restaurant of a high standard serving home made Italian food. This was our first visit.....but not our last. Highly recommended.

Caffe e Vino is our favourite place for Brunch , lunch , evening meal and everything inbetween . Davide and his team always make the customers feel special and take time to chat even when busy . The food is superb , as is the atmosphere . A slice of Italy in Tewkesbury . Highly recommend every time .

I visited twice in quick succession recently, once for a breakfast with a friend on the Saturday and then again on the Monday with my wife to take advantage of their special 'Pie, Pud and Pint' offer. The pub itself manages to preserve its 'village pub' feel - so much nicer than the more corporate chain pubs in the near vicinity in Yate. The staff were friendly, the prices reasonable (the Pie offer was great value) and the food on both occasions was excellent. Overall a very good experience and we'll definitely be back!

The food was fabulous as it always is. The rhubarb crème brûlée was particularly scrumptious.

As always, excellent food and brilliant service. Four of us had the steak and all were served cooked to perfection. My blue steak was delicious. The Miners is the only restaurant where I will order a blue steak as I know it will be served as a blue steak should be cooked. The chips are the best you will get anywhere and the side salad was crisp, fresh with a delicious dressing. All the staff are pleasant, professional and very attentive. Another pleasant dining experience, thank you.

8 of us enjoyed our lunch, service was up to their normal good standard. Everyone of our party commented on how much they enjoyed their food. It would help if the goats cheese salad actually had some salad leaves with it. When queried our waitress remedied the situation quickly and without fuss. My wife and I shared the 16oz ribeye which was plenty for us. Highly recommended

Excellent as always. Does us 2 meals as we take leftovers home for supper the following, bubble & squeak with cold meats.

We've been lots of times for Sunday Lunch and have never been disappointed. Today was no exception. I usually have the roast beef but chose the lamb shank which had been cooked slow cooked for 4 hours. It was absolutely divine. Plenty of veg too all of which were great. Just about had room for the lemon tart, brandy basket and ice cream. Once again this was superb. We will be back.

We were a party of four celebrating my sons and his partners birthdays. The food was amazing and beautifully presented a wonderful vibe in the restaurant they were very busy but the place was buzzing with a happy atmosphere. Served by a lovely young waitress who was very friendly with a smile on her face very important in the hospitality industry. We look forward to returning again.

Another lovely supper at Caffe e Vino with my husband and our granddaughters. Excellent baked olive starter, delicious risotto and very good value children’s meals.

Our Second visit to this lovely restaurant, we were greeted by a charming man at the entrance. The four of us felt very welcomed! The food was absolutely fantastic and we couldn’t fault it…. The only negative was the young lady seeing to our table, unfortunately I think her friends were sat at the table next to us & every slight request from us was met with a sigh and rolled eyes, we found her generally quite rude. It was a real shame and did impact the evening a little!
