Wonderful overnight stay and dinner. Great atmosphere, friendly service and pitch perfect food for both dinner and breakfast.

Highly recommend this lovely Italian restaurant, 5 stars all round. Excellent food, fantastic service and we were very well looked after as a large party of 11. We will definitely be returning, again!

We regularly go to this family run restaurant. The decor is simple, the service efficient and professional and most importantly the food is excellent and well priced. Due to its popularity it is imperative to book well in advance as it gets extremely busy.

We found this place accidentally a while ago and liked it so much we made a 30 mile round trip recently to come back. Great atmosphere, extremely welcoming owner and staff, delicious food and drink and very reasonably priced. Would thoroughly recommend and we look forward to our next visit.

A Full house on the very wet Thursday we had lunch but as soon as we walked in, a great warm Italian welcome greeted us. Lovely atmosphere and busy but we weren’t rushed. Delicious salad and tasty tagliatelle, well done, we will definitely be back.

A little gem of a restaurant. First class customer service. A warm welcome when entering, seated straight away. Menus, drinks order and food underway. Food is fantastic, well presented, nice selection of dishes. Made with a lot of care and attention to detail. Lovely flavours and combinations. All in all 5 stars, for a restaurant close to home that works very hard to give the best service and quality of food. Be sure to book a table, it is well worth it.

Excellent service and food. One of the party was coeliac and the proprietor could not have been more helpful - many GF dishes available.

Authentic, tasty Italian dishes, friendly, efficient service, no intrusive music, no dogs (in the evening anyway) - a rare find!

We were on holiday in the Forest of Dean and had an excellent meal here . The beef suet pie was amazing as was the crème brûlée. We took our dogs and were made vey welcome. Thanks

Very welcoming upon arrival. Took us to our table in the back. Table was very narrow was like I was sat on my wife’s lap. I do not see the point when they ask for requests and u request a certain table, not to be given it even though the area I asked for there was one there

Beautiful restaurant, fresh local produce used throughout. The Calzones are huge!!! Sea bass was cooked beautifully and the garlic mushrooms plentiful. Staff are super friendly and attentive, Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful setting, ambience was perfect, we would eat here again for sure.

We took friends to enjoy a 'pot luck' Monday evening meal. Unlike on previous visits I felt the selection of food options were very 'ordinary' and not of the standard and variety we had previously enjoyed. We had the fish and chips and burger and whilst they were both ok they didn't have the wow factor we have enjoyed in the past. Although only paying half price we felt the listed prices were above what we would expect to pay for those dishes. The service was first class and the staff helpful and friendly.
