Best Sunday lunch ever. Great presentation. Beef and vegetables extremely tasty.

We had a wonderful Sunday lunch very relaxed atmosphere with brilliant attentive service from the team we will be back soon

The food was absolutely stunning and came in a timely fashion. The only downfall I have on this booking is when seated, we were seated at a very large table to accommodate 4 (6 with two chairs at the end with no leg room), I’ve never had this instance at any other restaurant but they then seated another family, on the same table as us. No one approached us to apologise that they had overbooked and asked if this was suitable, it made the dining experience really awkward and uncomfortable and has put us off attending in the future, after booking in advance and paying a deposit, this was really very badly handled. Overall the staff were lovely, but to not be apologise to or approached was really unacceptable.

Top Tier roast!

Another fine roast beef lunch for us all - gravy, veg and greens all spot on. In fact, it was agreed by all that it was the best we'd ever had in a restaurant. Keep up the excellent work! Ambience was lovely, and a nice chat by the fire afterwards rounded things off.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere.

We've had a few excellent lunches here, but this was our first special occasion - the Festive Christmas Lunch. Warm atmosphere in the barn, attentive and helpful waitress, nice chilled rose wine, excellent roast dinner. Particularly liked the vegetables and gravy - the rolled breast of turkey while good wasn't excellent. We were too full to have pudding! This cafe is wonderful - we can't praise it highly enough - it deserves all the plaudits it gets. Thank you to a brilliant, talented, innovative chef.

Despite having been described as “congenitally greedy” I have to say I had my fill when enjoying Harry’s Cafe Bar Christmas lunch. It was perfect in every way. Could not be faulted. Top class.

An excellent Christmas lunch thank you. Very generous, tasty portions. The cauliflower cheese was amazing. Great atmosphere as always. We will be returning to enjoy a dessert as the main course was so generous.

Gorgeous Christmas lunch enjoyed with friends, both the turkey and the vegetarian nut roast were delicious and the vegetables ( served separately) cooked perfectly. ie not overcooked, amazing cauliflower cheese and gravy. Lovely ambience & well priced wine list along with good service.

An excellent Sunday lunch beautiful tender roast beef cooked to perfection . Tasty vegetables all served in tureens with a big jug of gravy . Simply delicious and really good service from all the staff . Thankyou we had a great meal

Brilliant food freshly made! Service was great. Really enjoyed it.

Sunday lunch. Choice of beef or roasted celeriac. The beef is sirloin thick cut slices, perfectly cooked and best quality, served with a real Yorkshire pud and real gravy. Only the congenitally greedy would ask for more. Generous servings of veg, family style. Roasties, carrot, hispi, cauliflower in a cheesy mustardy sauce. Followed up with pudding; proper apple crumble, real egg custard. The atmosphere is warm, cosy and family with great big tables and a roaring wood-burner in the corner. Lovely staff, clearly busy but always charming and cheerful. Fab, like a great-big hug of the best of half-forgotton Sundays past.

Been before and food was of the same high standard but felt short changed as only had one very small piece of beef - would have expected at least twice as much. There were some very loud children nearby but can’t blame the cafe for the lack of parenting skills shown
