The Netherwood Hotel and Spa – Grange-over-SandsThe staff were friendly professional courteous & accommodating. The surroundings were very nice and 3 out of the 5 meals we ordered were nice, sadly the cheese and onion pie was not to good and the pastry was inedible , however it was late at the end of serving.
Hope and Anchor – Grange-over-SandsLovely pub. Great food. Great access for our daughter who is in a wheelchair. All staff so attentive & friendly. Makes a huge difference. The young lad who served us is an asset to the pub. Although Easter service was quick. Will definitely return again when in the area. Well done Matt & team.
Hope and Anchor – Grange-over-SandsGreat service
Hope and Anchor – Grange-over-SandsSpa was very nice but the changing rooms left alot to be desired as not separate cubicles showers not private either you could see everyone and everything not my idea of private. Then when we went for the food there was no one to help where we should go when we did ask we were put in the lounge for our afternoon tea and not in the dining room where you would expect to eat as there is wonderful views. The food its self was ok but I won't be rushing back
The Netherwood Hotel and Spa – Grange-over-SandsMatt and his team were extremely accommodating in making my daughter’s 18th meal a great success. The service and food were amazing!
Hope and Anchor – Grange-over-SandsBooked a spa and afternoon tea for my daughter and myself through Travel zoo. This is the second time we have been. The Netherwood property is stunning inside and out, if you like older properties. The Spa……… clean and spacious, except for the changing rooms. No individual cubicle to change in, which a lot of people may prefer. See through glass at shower cubicle, could maybe have frosted glass? Some lockers did not work when trying to lock them. Perhaps piped music in the spa room would be nice and relaxing to listen to, and a few magazines to flick through whilst laying on the loungers? Just suggestions. Restaurant……. Very comfortable and spacious. Afternoon tea was delicious and very filling. The gentleman behind the bar was extremely pleasant, despite being rushed off his feet, Payment only by card. Definitely recommend.

The Netherwood Hotel and Spa – Grange-over-SandsWe absolutely love going to Harry’s Bar, the Food, Atmosphere and staff are all equally excellent. We visited on 26 and had a sumptuous Sunday Lunch, with all the trimmings a lovely dessert and a good bottle of wine! Lovely, warm and welcoming. Well worth the value for money, will 100% be returning.
Harry’s Cafe Bar at Yew Tree Barn – Grange-over-SandsBeautiful decorated clean pub with a cosy atmosphere. Very friendly well mannered staff who make you feel welcome on every visit. Excellent customer service a real asset to the area. Our new local in the South Lakes, when we are visiting our caravan. We had Sunday lunch yesterday from the new improved menu which was very good.

Hope and Anchor – Grange-over-SandsLovely day, changing rooms a bit snug for so many people, the aroma steam room had no aroma! as other ones I've been in. Staff lovely and informative, lunch and spa good value for the price we paid through Travel Zoo. Had to wait a while for lunch as there was only one poor girl serving between lots of rooms. Will be back in summer when the gardens are in bloom
The Netherwood Hotel and Spa – Grange-over-SandsWe have eaten here for the three nights of our stay, the food and service has been exemplary. For the standard of food it is very well priced, as is the wine. We would highly recommend eating here.
The Netherwood Hotel and Spa – Grange-over-SandsExcellent lunch. Thank you. We will return.
Harry’s Cafe Bar at Yew Tree Barn – Grange-over-SandsWe really enjoyed the spa, it felt luxurious with good facilities and friendly staff. It was a nice size and not too many people booked in during our session. We used a TravelZoo voucher which included a glass of fizz and lunch. The lounge area we ate in was very nice and the food was good. The waitress that was working behind the bar had very poor customer service skills and really looked like she didn't want to be there. An elderly guest tried to pay with cash and she was particularly unhelpful.
The Netherwood Hotel and Spa – Grange-over-SandsWe had a spa and afternoon tea day. The staff were really friend and accommodating. The afternoon tea was amazing and the setting is just gorgeous. Highly recommended
