Nicely presented Bistro. Staff a bit off hand. Food ok but my lamb rump was over cooked and the carrot purée was a mere smidging whilst the drizzle of jus was a smothering. Think for me was the 20% service charge. No one pointed this out they just asked if I wanted to add 10% tip on top!

Had the sea bass and a shared portion of Sticky toffee pudding which was ample for 2

Very delicious meal. Had the whipped feta and hummus sharing platters to begin with. We then all had the sea bass. Was beautifully cooked and seasoned. Lovely restaurant, small and friendly and reasonably priced. Thank you.

What a great place to dine. It was a busy Friday evening, but this did not affect the excellent service - the staff were very attentive. The Beef Fillet Stroganoff was delicious and a great take on a well-known dish. Plenty of fresh vegetables served with the main course. Very tasty ice-cream to finish. Would definitely recommend dining here.

Had a lovely meal at Lewis’s on our last night in Grasmere. Food was delicious. Had three courses and all were great - would recommend the fillet stroganoff and the Eccles cake for dessert was indulgence personified. Staff was excellent and although it was quiet when we arrived it soon got busier and had a great atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again when we next stay in Grasmere.

We had a lovely meal at the Lewis's bistro in grasmere, we will definitely be booking again. A good service and friendly staff , the food was delicious. I had the beef which we thought was a little bit over priced for for a 6oz beef and chips with veg, but it was nice.

We had a lovely meal on our final night in the Lakes. The food was presented perfectly and full of flavour. The wine we chose was very good too. We had an excellent evening. Well done to the team at Lewis's.

The whole evening from start finish was fantastic. ambiance, the food and the service. We will 100% visit again, when in the Grasmere area. Thankyou everyone Richard

What a find. An absolutely beautiful setting the atmosphere, food and service lived up to expectations. We enjoyed the Chicken Supreme and Roasted Cod and we just had to try the deserts. The sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake didn’t disappoint

We booked two evenings at Lewis’s and on both occasions it was fantastic. Food and drinks were delicious, the staff attentive and friendly, the atmosphere relaxing. A return visit for us as we also visited on a previous visit to Grasmere - that was equally as good. We’ll definitely book again on our next planned visit.

Absolutely delicious meal at Lewis Bistro. My husband had the lamb rump and I had the chicken supreme. Both were lovely as was the lemon and raspberry cheesecake. Best meal we have had so far on our Coast to Coast walk and I doubt if we’ll have anything to beat it. Would definitely come again if we are in the area.

We had a lovely meal here on Saturday night. I had the tempura vegetables followed by the vegetable curry. I thoroughly enjoyed both courses. Beautifully prepared and well seasoned. I had to ask for a plate for the curry as I couldn’t eat from the dishes they were served in. That was no problem at all. My husband enjoyed his Gambas Pil Pil and Fillet Steak Stroganoff. Both full but we could not resist the delicious Lemon and Raspberry Cheesecake and ordered a slice to share with creamy vanilla ice cream. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Grasmere x
