Excellent meal on our first visit. Disappointed that Eccles cakes were not available but made up for by delicious chase cake. We’ll be back for Eccles cakes!

The service was excellent the food was amazing and was very good value. We would definitely eat here again when we are in grasmere.

What an amazing experience...we have visited this restaurant on several occasions and it never fails to impress...the food is fantastic....Great atmosphere....with lovely friendly staff ...its a must if visiting grasmere.

Fantastic meal last night at Lewis’ bistro. The steak and lamb were cooked to perfection and the wine was equally as good. Great service too, will definitely return next time we visit Grasmere.

There is a reason we always go for a table at Lewis when we stay in Grasmere The menu changes the quality of the produce is amazing and we love the food What brings us back is the service. It’s true family run place and that comes through. We stay in Grasmere every 3 months and will be back

This was our third visit to Lewis's Bistro whilst staying in Grasmere and on each occasion we have received a friendly welcome and have enjoyed some delicious food along with excellent service in a pleasant environment. Looking forward to another visit when we return to the Lakes.

Gorgeous food, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff The fillet steak at £30 was great value and one of the best I’ve had. Great value for money and if we were staying longer then we would definitely have gone back

Our 5th trip to Lewis's and the food was beautiful as always! My only wee dissapointment was that our trip was for a 60th birthday that day, and we choose Lewis's specifically for this but there was not a mention of it, which was a shame - maybe to note for others booking a special occasion in future.

We love this gem of a Bistro, it’s our go to every time we come to Grasmere. We had a fantastic meal with friends last night & another fantastic meal tonight. You always receive a warm welcome, excellent food and service. We highly recommend a visit, never disappoints.

We always make a point of eating at Lewis's when we are in the area, and it never disappoints. Great food and drink, and excellent service, it's one of my favourite restaurants in the Lakes.

Early sitting for evening meal for 2 people. Very easy booking system, welcomed with a smile and seated immediately. Great selection of courses and all our choices were cooked perfectly. Reasonable price for wine and food. Service was excellent. We have eaten at Lewis’s on 5 occasions and will definitely be visiting again soon.

Lewis’s bistro offers a menu that is not overly congested with options but enough to get the taste buds tingling. The venue, the food and the service is overall, very good. Our table had the Beef Stroganoff and the Sea Bass. The dishes were well cooked, tasty with excellent presentation. My only slight concerns were upon leaving, when one of the local employees let her views be known about people from outside of Cumbria buying property in Grasmere. Whilst we acknowledged her frustrations, being labelled as “you’re one of them” felt a little unnecessary. Customer service is about your customers experience and your views should be private. A slightly sour note to what is a great place to dine.

Excellent Food and nice surrounding, The wine was an excellent choice.
