This was our first visit to Lewis’s Bistro and we will certainly be back again. A lovely little bistro with friendly staff great service and amazing food.

We had an absolutely wonderful evening at Lewis’s last night. The menu has wonderful variety with some great vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options too. Don’t worry, it’s not all veggie! The meat options are stunning! The kids menu is perfect for little ones and the staff are pleasant and professional. We were greeted promptly and all the food was absolutely delicious. It is clear that much thought and passion had gone into making this tiny gem one of the area’s loveliest restaurants. We can’t wait to return!

What a wonderful meal which was complimented by the attentive and relaxed service provided by the chef/patron and his wonderful staff. What a pleasure to also eat outside!! We are frequent visitors to the lakes and will certainly be going back to Lewis’s.

Fantastic meal! Delicious and good portion size. The staff are friendly and attentive, couldn’t wish for a better place for a meal.

We really enjoyed our experience at Lewis's. It was a busy evening, but the service was excellent, friendly and efficient. The food was delicious. Our evening was over too quickly, we'll definitely pay this wonderful bistro another visit when we're next in Grasmere.

We absolutely love Lewis’s and eat here every time we visit the lakes. The food is amazing, as is the service. It’s a lovely little bistro with a great atmosphere. We would highly recommend visiting Lewis’s. It’s also great now they have the option to book online meaning we can plan our holiday meals in advance very easily.

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Lewis’s last night. After the bad review seen elsewhere we wondered whether we would enjoy our experience ………we needn’t have had any concern whatsoever! From start to finish Amanda and her team looked after us very well. Great, imaginative menu, tasty food, good portions served very hot …..what’s not to like! When we asked for two spoons to share a rice pudding dessert……we got the biggest rice pudding you could imagine! Not sure why Lewis’s hasn’t been on our radar before, they have been open for six years….but we look forward to returning on our next visit to these parts in September. Lewis’s and the team deserve to do well. Thank you.
