Very good value for money. Food was hot and very well presented. We had a lunch from the small portion menu and I would not say it was small I would say more than adequate for lunch. I would highly recommend this venue.

Tocketts Mill Country Park and Restaurant – GuisboroughWhat a lovely little gem this place is. Once in the caravan park you could be anywhere as you're surrounded by greenery and it's very pretty. The restaurant has outdoor seating, a large conservatory style indoor/outdoor feel where there are beautiful large umbrellas to stop the heat baking you or heaters to keep you warm in the colder months and then the indoor seating area, all done tastefully and comfortably. The food is excellent, well cooked and presented. They adapt most choices to vegetarian or vegan apart from the grill menu. For example you can have lasagne with meat or veg, fajitas and curry etc. Well worth a visit.

Great food, great staff, great value for money. We will be back. If I had one area to comment on, it would be the area where we are directed to pay. Getting people to pay at the entry / exit desk creates a bit of a bottle neck. People wanting to pay, people wanting to be seated at their desk, people wanting to leave. Appeared to create a bit of pressure on the staff in that area. Maybe bring the handheld terminals to the diners table to pay could eradicate that bottle neck(?)

The chips got slightly soaked from the cooked fish on top. Great service! Looking forward to returning.
Tocketts Mill Country Park and Restaurant – GuisboroughMy friends and I often go to Tocketts for our monthly catch up and always rated it one of our favourite places to eat. However on this occasion we were somewhat disappointed. We do appreciate that there were only a couple of waitresses on and another setting tables. One came and asked us what we wanted to drink after a couple of minutes and we're we served in about 5 mins. About ten minutes later the same lady came and asked for out order and as we had what we usually order gave her our decision. That's when the problem started. We waited for over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. I always have the quiche but on this occasion I was extremely disappointed. It was half the size and not only did it seem overcooked but arrived with boiled potatoes. I would have preferred chips again, which I usually have, but was never offered. My friend's meals were lovely,the small plate dinners with beef. We then waited nearly 30 minutes after we had finished for someone to come and collect our plates,in fact I was about to get up and put them on the bar. We decided to ask the young lady who was settling the tables to clear ours and after she'd finished doing her table she finally went and got someone. We then decided on having the special as our desert at £9.25 that was also disappointing. It was lemon meringue pie with raspberries, actually only two, raspberries sorbet,a very small scoop,meringue pieces, again not even two small broken up pieces and a green tweel,which my friends left. We complained to the waitress who eventually came to clear the table and she said she would tell the person who did the deserts about our dissatisfaction. As I said it was extremely busy and can somewhat understand with the shortage of staff. However it is sad that our once favourite place to go has gone down in our estimations.
Tocketts Mill Country Park and Restaurant – GuisboroughFirstly this place is so inviting and depending on ambiance your looking for kind of fits the bill you have a family function table that sits a large family in the main room , you have summer vibes and bright colours in the conservatory and then there’s the bar which is rather Romantic and quaint , a great all rounder. We often arrange a few family members for Sunday roast here and I have to say it’s always delicious, the staff are great and are a credit to this place …. I personally love this place . My only gripe is the meat carver could smile a little & be a little friendlier . Other than that it’s definitely a 10/10 for me
