I have to say we were very very surprised at the quality of food served in this lovely pub,it was tasty hot and plenty of it,very friendly too ,

I have eaten at Design House twice now and the food and service is just perfect. I would recommend this restaurant with out a doubt...

Having tried many places in The Area I decided to try the Crown Tandoori, i was greeted by a peculiar dressed waiter which I presume may have been his traditional cloths and only received a greeting of 2 words "Good evening" the waiter seemed unsure during conversation and I asked for his recommendation to which he suggested the chefs special 'His Bandhor Khombol Curry' the waiter casually returned with the owner to which I was truly amazed with the speed of the preparation of the chefs 'Bandhor Khombol Curry' having finished my meal I can honestly say it was certainly a shock, as the fragrance and the strength of 'The Bandhor Khombol Curry' was too over powering, nevertheless, I thought it did me justice.

This is the second time we have eaten here and cannot fault the food. This time we used our Gourmet Society card. The website said up to 3 courses free when 3 courses purchased.We only had 2 courses each but when it came to the bill, the owner/proprietor said that the offer was only for one free main course and didn't want to let us have the free starter. It was only when I went to the trouble of finding the website and offer on my smartphone, (with a lot of time and effort as the internet connection was a bit hit and miss), that he relented. They couldn't have been nicer when serving us, but when he had to admit we were right, it was hard work to get a smile out of him, let alone a thanks and goodbye. At the end of the day, it was only a £5 difference, so I don't know why he made such a fuss. It spoilt the meal experience really and I don't know what would have happened if I hadn't managed to get the website to load properly in the end - any longer and we would have been late for our show at the theatre.The previous time we ate here, they couldn't get the credit card machine to work and we ended up trying to get sufficient cash together - nearly missing our appointment again! We don't seem to have much luck at this curry house! (Wish these discount dining card people would make sure the offer is correct - or should it be the responsibility of the restaurant?

Tried to get for lunch last Sunday couldnt because so busy.Have booked this week,word is definitely getting round about this lovely pub,you will love the homemade food but you do need to book at weekend.

We love it we come all the way from Skipton for this lovely food, its worth the drive, great food lots of choice top class.

We've eaten at the Maypole fairly regularly for the past couple of years and it's a popular venue for both locals and visitors to the pretty village of Warley.Tuesdays is pie and a pint night and last night I had cauliflower and blue cheese pasty with salad on the side. The salad wasn't part of the special offer but they were happy to oblige. The pasty filling was generous and flavoursome and the puff pastry was light and buttery. My OH had steak, ale and potato pie with a shortcrust lid with chips on the side along with mushy peas served in a little pot. The pie filling, pastry and hand cut chips were all homemade.I had a glass of house dry white with my meal and my OH had his manly pint. The staff are always attentive regardless of whether it's your first visit or you're a regular.Sister pub to the Stump Cross Inn and well worth a visit if you're not already in on the secret.

Just great,tasty homemmade quality food and lots of it,,,,,what more can you want..no wonder there always busy ,,,

I had a meal with my wife and a friend it left a lot to be desired. I complained about it being to salty and not being good value nobody took any notice and WE WILL NOT BE GOING THERE AGAIN

Some of the BEST pub food I have ever had! Restaurant standard food served in comfortable village pub surroundings. Excellent ale too, including Timothy Taylor's Landlord Bitter. A well deserved pat on the back is offered to Jo, Steve and all the team . Can not wait to visit again.

Love this pub..Lunch here at least twice a week with my partner,,wonderful food and excellent wine,well kept beer too!!

Try the Curry night on Thursdays at the Duke of York. Deal is food and drink for £5.00 home made curry by Maria is fantastic better than the local Indian! and she always has at a bowl at some point during the week on the bar for the locals to try. They also do steak night which again is a deal wine and steak. Sundays lunches are the best your full after your lunch! and not forgetting the good old quiz night after you have had your tea.Home cooked food at its best by Maria service with a smile and home from home. This is a gem of a local pub not to be passed by...

Great to have such a fab village pub that serves such tasty food so friendly and the staff are all so happy and polite,The Landlady and her family has certainly turned this place around!!

What a gem of a place this is,the food is amazing been five times already this month and have booked for Sunday.Nothing to much trouble for the happy staff here.The landlady is so nice you can tell she really cares,treats everyone so well..

We have eaten at the Botts Arms many times before but have to say now that Jo, Steve and family have taken over, the food, atmosphere and service is 1st class. Nothing is too much trouble. It has gone from good food to top quality food, excellent service and friendly helpfull staff.
