Visited for lunch with my friend on Saturday. Food was delicious and service and staff were great. Owners were there and were very friendly and chatty. Will definitely visit again.

Had an awesome night for my birhday at Andover SP, the bar staff were happy and so friendly making our few hours flow with banter and laughs. Awesome start to my birthday drinks thank you espcialy to the bar manager and the chap mixing up our cocktails. Will be back for drinks soon.

A fantastic cocktail bar with such knowledgeable and friendly staff, and absolutely worth a visit. Its just a great place.

Pre Theatre meal for three. Food was excellent, fresh and hot. The service was friendly, efficient and attentive. So easy to book online, with confirmation; always appreciated. Would definitely use this lovely restaurant again and thoroughly recommend it.

Very busy and food took a long time to arrive and very cold where we were sat . Had to ring the next day as deposit hadn’t been taken off of our bill and we didn’t realise till afterwards. Was refunded the next day by the manager after discussing bill total. Probably would not visit again.

Sediment fish and chips, interesting ambiance

Pre theatre dinner. It was a night of horrendous rain and wind, my friend driving down from Camberley was delayed. The staff were so friendly and helpful, even covered the dinner with foil to keep it warm. Service was excellent, food was delicious. I was only sad to see how shocked the waitress was when she saw we had left a tip. She was so grateful. Seems there aren’t many that show their appreciation. I’d certainly dine there again.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Chequers, the roast beef was excellent and liked that the veg is served separate to help yourself rather than piled on the plate, the atmosphere and service was very friendly.

Food great as always but booked on line and received return confirmation but when we arrived they had no sign of our booking. However they found a table for us. Maybe wise to phone to book a table!

Once again fantastic roast lamb. Plenty of roast potatoes and good Yorkshire Pudding. Spotted dick to follow was very light.

We came for cocktails before we went for dinner, we didn’t eat at SP as I cannot eat any of their food due to being damn fussy, I don’t like spicy or fancy food! Not one thing could I have eaten sadly! We really enjoyed the cocktails, we even managed to book while it was happy hour and had no idea! Happy Days!! I’d really like to know how to make a Cherry Bomb! If they’d like to reveal the recipe! so good! Only my second visit and my friends first, she really liked it and the atmosphere too! looking forward to maybe a better menu and bigger place when they move to the Guildhall!

Lovely meal, Generous portion size. Very tasty. We have lamb shank and pork belly with black pudding. Would definitely recommend to others and return again.

We stopped in for a casual meal before going to the theatre. Our table of 3 had fish and chips and burgers. All the food was really fresh, tasty and generous portions. The bar had difficulties with their gas dispenser for my soda but the bar tender went above and beyond to ensure I received a good wine spritzer. The venue has recently been refurbished, facilities were clean and we will definitely be back.
