Enjoyed as usual , a fabulous dinner at The Dukes Head . We had fish and chips., sausage & mash and slow cooked rib of beef. All three meals were delicious. Drinks, we had a bottle of house red , and a Guinness . All went down very well. David especially, and the team/staff again always makes you feel very welcome indeed, in this lovely pub. Excellent.

We met here for a birthday, great service and hot delicious food. Managed a little desert too - all beautifully presented and we were never rushed so we had a good catch up!

First time eating here and it was lovely. Service was great and the food was good. The bread and butter pudding was delicious. Will definitely be back.

I am new to the village and have eaten here a few times now both with the family and friends. Lovely staff and great food and always very well presented. Staff always make you feel very welcome.

We booked a table on the spur of the moment and very last minute. We arrived early and had a drink at the bar, within 5 minutes our table was ready. We both ordered the roast dinner, and it was delicious. Plenty of flavour, cooked to perfection and very tasty. Clean plates all round and very full belly’s! The service was excellent. If you are looking for a tasty Sunday treat, I would not hesitate to recommend The Dukes Head.

Christmas late lunch/early dinner on Saturday 6th, 4 people. Excellent food and service, pub very Christmassy. Christmas menu good value

Had lunch on 3rd December - turkey (of course). Food was fabulous. Service slick and unobtrusive. Highly recommend.

We had a large party of 22 and we were looked after so well . The staff were lovely and so obliging. The turkey was very good but a couple of ladies did not enjoy the beef. Tough and full of sinew

Amazing food and service, our first visit here and certainly won’t be our last. Sunday roast was the best I’ve had. A really nice country vibe pub and restaurant. Perfect.

David and his staff have always been very helpful and friendly, the decor log burner and background music create a lovely atmosphere. Their menus are varied with quality food at reasonable prices, good selection of ales beer, wines also the Guinness is grand☘️
