What can I say what a fantastic meal we all had i saw this place on KyleVFood it looked amazing then but actually coming and trying the good was well worth it the staff are fantastic very friendly n polite .

Meals where lovly but shame you only get a hour and half on Sunday there was 8 ov us and by time the food arrived and was eaten we only had 10 minutes left to order dessert and it was a birthday meal so most people ov the party was wanting desserts but wasn’t enough time … but will be back

Amazing as always! First time having the breakfast though and it was very very nice! Not expensive either!!

Came here with my other half for his birthday. We were abit early so sat and had a drink at bar, very friendly staff. Took us round to our table when it was ready. Starter was belly pork and mozzarella bites, absolutely outstanding. Mains was moaning cow and santorini sensation, both beautiful meals, unfortunately wasn’t able to finish it. Highly recommend this place, very warm and inviting establishment.

The sauce on my meal was very overpowering and salty could not enjoy the food on my plate as covered by sauce.

Photos aren’t representative of the food served unfortunately. The service was really good though. Overpriced for the offerings and some really not as advertised. Won’t be rushing back.

Best food in hougton /shiney hands down. Deserves all the credit and reviews! The dirty del boy burger is incredible. 10/10. I'd say the decor in the main eating part could be abit cozier, warmer. Few times customers can be bit loud and swearing but are always told to stop by staff. Best food around! Thanks! Staff are lovely btw

Really enjoyed our visit to The Beehive in Houghton-le-Spring. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. My only small gripe is the tables are a bit close together, which made it feel slightly cramped and no privacy for conversation. Still, a lovely spot I'd happily recommend!

Our first visit for Sunday Lunch and it was excellent; lovely food, great value for money and staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive. We will be back.

best service for a long time was asked the question I would ask other servers, like Do you want leftover boxed, etc. Gravy was amazing and all good, but I went for trio for £4 more and didn't get much extra for it, barring a trio of meat. My partner had the same amount of beef, so I would definitely come again, but not pick the trio

Been wanting to try here for ages and our first time did not disappoint! Staff were so lovely and pleasant. Food was amazing! My partner got fish and chips and I got the gyros. My word I’ve never had something taste exactly spot on to Greek food as that did. Well worthy the money.

First time visit on Tuesday. The menu has a vast amount of choices plus a chef’s special to choose from. The food was fantastic, staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great . Highly recommend

Second time visiting and the food was outstanding again, absolutely 10 out of 10 and the staff are always so friendly. Great value for money I'll certainly be back again soon.
