Visited last night whilst attending a talk about Hulls History with Paul Schofield. The pub was lively with a friendly atmosphere. The surroundings were old world traditional furnishings, and it was great to soak up the atmosphere. Food supplied and served by Food For Cowboys next door and was delicious , authentic dishes with a Mexican Twist .Would definitely eat there again in the near future. The prices were very reasonable and it is great to support a local independent company

Travelled from the coast, booked online, arrived early - they couldnt off been more accomadating. Food was cooked fantastic, the place was buzzing with people, the staff were lovely, helpful & really friendly, we will be returning in the warmer months for a Meze & keo!! IF i had to find a fault . . . . . The coke cola was flat!! Otherwise brilliant, thank you all at Aegean.

WOW - We made a special trip over the bridge to come here on a recommendation. It was even better than we'd thought it would be. The birria is exceptional and the old fashioned I had was up there with the very best (and I've drank a lot of them). I forget the name in Spanish, but the bread with the oil and tomato was so tasty for something so simple, you can really tell a lot of thought, effort and experience goes in to the food. Whilst this is not the cheapest place to eat, what sets it apart from other places is that the quality of the ingredients matches what you're paying for. We had some steak tacos from the specials menu and you could actually taste the quality of the meat. We'll be back VERY soon!

Visited on Friday evening. Delish meal, great staff and good value. Cant fault anything about the experience. Will def be going back

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Food was incredible and so tasty. Experience was brilliant, sitting watching everyone at work was a great to watch. Owner was super friendly, took time to talk to us, even though it was extremely busy. Soon as we let I recommended it to so many of my friends to try. We’ll definitely be back!

We sat by the door on a cold January day whilst a delivery chap kept coming in and out with boxes being delivered to the restaurant. That wasn't ideal, but I get that it has to happen. Next time I will book a table for the upstairs area. The service was fantastic. The food was special. We will definitely be going back for a larger try of the menu!

Fab birthday night at Banarasi, excellent food. Service and atmosphere brilliant, would defo recommend. Looking forward to our next visit.

What an absolute treat to have great authentic Mexican food, we thoroughly enjoyed it right from the start with a lovely warm welcome and great food and drinks, the staff are very friendly and attentive thank you we will be back.

My favourite place to go for Greek food. Always great tasting and presented well. We visited on Tuesday night,7 of us and the waiter could not of been more accommodating. Excellent service. Looking forward to our next visit

I cannot speak highly enough of this place! The food, staff and general vibe was out of this world. Have booked back in with the girls in a few weeks and cannot wait to try the evening menu and natural wines.

We arrived a little early for our booking so was told they wouldn't take our food order till our booking time at 7.15 which we said was fine. An hour and 10 minutes after our booking time someone finally came and took our order, the waitress who was looking after us couldn't properly understand us so we had to point at the menu for her, she finally bought all our meals but 1, when we tried to get her attention she just kept saying "2 minutes" finally the actual chef bought out the last meal and apologised. We ordered a second round off drinks and she got 3 off them wrong, and she then totally ignored my partner when he told her his drink order. The food was lovely but unfortunately it was ruined by the service. Don't think we'll be going back there!
