Lovely lunch. Good food , although waited a while for the main course. The excellent service from the staff and quality overall is very good.

We enjoyed the meal, we have been before. The down side was we waited too long for the mains over an hour.

Once again came with two grandkids. Cheerful staff all of our stay. Food once again excellent and large portions. Service topnotch.

The food was delicious, unfortunately we had to wait almost an hour for it, which is a shame. Also there was no one on hand to be greeted when we arrived, had to wait 10 minutes to be shown to our table The food did make up for the service though. Perhaps more staff required,it was very busy which does go a long way to say how good the food is

I took a party of 12 for an early evening meal on Thursday night We pre ordered our main courses all of which came hot and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent

Booked table for 7pm. Menus arrived shortly after.. waited another 20 mins before order was taken. Food ok.. overpriced and just warm.. not hot. Then had to ask for cutlery which made food cooler while waiting.. then asked for ice in my drink. Sorry .. ran out?? Of ice??… It’s purely location/beer garden that is the only benefit of this eatery that makes it popular. Not a patch on fletchers in Denton for service quality and food. Won’t be returning in a hurry

Food was fantastic as always. Staff very friendly and pub is in a lovely area. We definitely visit again.

Had a meal yesterday with my friend and sisters, the food was amazing as normal the service was great our waitress was so friendly and knowledgeable (sorry can’t remember her name) I love love love Angela the manager she sprays takes the time to come over and say hello, great looking pub in a beautiful place what’s not to love x

Booked a table for 6 on Sunday, meal was good, service was prompt, but big shout out to all the staff especially Matt, in supporting and helping with our daughter, who has asd adhd etc, it helps beyond words when she gets the attention and food required, thank you xx

Really disappointed I came to the rising moon for lunch on a Friday afternoon I had booked a table for me and my friend and our 2 babies which on the special request I ask for a high chair and for there to be space for a pram when we got there we had been shoved in a corner where there was no room for a high chair or a pram to which I asked could we move. My friend sat there with her 1 year old for at least 15 minutes and no one had brought a high chair when she then asked for one the women pointed and said they are over there and then quickly changed and said oh there isn’t any they must all be outside and just grabbed one from another table the high chair was absolutely disgusting full of food and no one came to clean it! After placing our drinks order we waited another 30/35 minutes and no drinks had come so we decided to just get up and go we explained to the women behind the bar and honestly she didn’t really care. I am a regular customer here and I am appalled at how poor the customer service was.

Absolutely brilliant meal! The service was impeccable and we were made to feel so welcome. Definitely can’t wait to come back again and again, our favourite place to eat. Recommending you to all our friends.

I had both my hen night, and wedding meal here. The food was hot, fresh and beautifully presented. All the staff were amazing, with a shout out to Adele, the manager, and Adam, our waiter on the big day. Everyone who ate with us complimented the food, the atmosphere and the staff. We have returned since, and the food and service was just as good. A little gem of a pub.

Excellent meal, lovely food, and first class service. Always enjoy eating and drinking here. Lovely restaurant and bar. Great location with a large carpark, and outdoor play area with outside eating if required.
